An oven appliance includes features for permitting movement of a door of the oven appliance relative to a cabinet of the oven appliance. The oven appliance also includes a hinge assembly that couples the door to at least one of the first and second slide assemblies such that the door is pivotable. The hinge assembly is coupled to a front panel of the door and extends through a liner of the door. A related double oven range appliance is also provided.

Oven appliance

An oven appliance includes features for permitting movement of a door of the oven appliance relative to a cabinet of the oven appliance. The oven appliance also includes a hinge assembly that couples the door to at least one of the first and second slide assemblies such that the door is pivotable. The hinge assembly includes a bearing disposed within one of a series of detents. A related double oven range appliance is also provided.

A rack for an oven includes a sheet of metal having a front edge, a back edge, opposing side edges, a top surface and a bottom surface. A row of punched openings is formed in the metal sheet, with a solid region of metal adjacent to the row of punched openings. A stiffening rib is formed in a surface of the rack in the solid region of metal having a substantially semi-circular, indented cross-section.

Oven rack

Mounting for a window in an oven appliance is provided so as to allow for thermal expansion during oven use. More particularly, an expansion zone is provided around the window such that, during heating of the window from oven operation, the window is allowed to expand without restraint that could cause cracking or shattering. Space can be allowed for both lateral and longitudinal expansion of the window.
