A generator of a frequency modulated radar signal includes a generator of a periodic signal frequency modulated over a part Tof a period T, corresponding to a square signal of which the frequency varies linearly in a first frequency band Bof central frequency f; an oscillator generating a sinusoidal signal of frequency f>fand included in a second frequency band B>Band corresponding to the linear variation of the frequency of the radar signal; and means coupled to an electrical supply input of the oscillator such that they generate a voltage for supplying the oscillator at the frequency of the frequency modulated periodic signal.

A radiofrequency transmission/reception integrated circuit includes at least one radiofrequency signal amplifier (PA, LNA), the at least one amplifier being configured, in operational mode, so as to perform a function of amplifying a radiofrequency signal applied at input, wherein the amplifier is configured so as to perform an oscillator function in a self-test mode of the integrated circuit, to generate a radiofrequency signal on at least one of the input or the output of said amplifier. An ultra-wideband radio frequency transmission system capable of receiving a first signal with discrete levels, and including: a voltage-controlled oscillator capable of supplying a first oscillating signal including an oscillating circuit powered by a power supply circuit comprising at least one first current source controlled by the first signal with discrete levels or a second signal with discrete levels obtained from the first signal with discrete levels; a mixer capable of receiving the first oscillating signal and of supplying a second oscillating signal equal to the first oscillating signal multiplied by a gain which depends on the first signal with discrete levels or on a third signal with discrete levels obtained from the first signal with discrete levels; and an antenna or an electromagnetic coupling device capable of transmitting a radio frequency signal based on the second oscillating signal.
