The present disclosure is directed generally to a lens that provides a stop signal to a myopic eye, over a substantial portion of the spectacle lens that the viewer is using. The present disclosure is directed to devices, methods and/or systems of imposing a stop signal to eye growth, using a spectacle lens in conjunction with a micro lenslet array. The present disclosure is also directed to devices, methods and/or systems of modifying incoming light through spectacle lenses that utilizes chromatic cues to decelerate the rate of myopia progression. The present disclosure is directed to devices, methods and/or systems of imposing a stop signal to eye growth, using a spectacle lens in conjunction with a refractive optical element and/or diffractive optical element that offer conflicting or contradictory optical signals at a wavelength between 510 nm and 610 nm.

Devices, systems and/or methods for myopia control

An ophthalmic lens element includes an upper distance viewing zone and a lower near viewing zone. The upper distance viewing zone includes a central region with a first refractive power for clear distance vision and peripheral regions that are relatively positive in power compared to the first refractive power. The lower near viewing zone has a central region that is relatively positive in power compared to the first refractive power to account for accommodative lag. The powers of the peripheral regions of the lower near viewing zone are one of: i) equal to the power of the central region of the lower near viewing zone, ii) relatively positive in comparison to the power of the central region of the lower near viewing zone.

Lens for myopic eye

An ophthalmic lens for treating myopia comprising: a base lens with a front surface, a back surface, and a first power profile selected to correct or substantially correct for a distance refractive error of the eye; one or more myopia control elements on at least one of the front and back surfaces of the lens; a first viewing region having a dimension selected based, at least in part, on a concentration of a pharmaceutical agent for use in conjunction with an ophthalmic lens, the first viewing region being configured to minimize, reduce and/or eliminate vision disturbances for distance vision; and a second viewing region comprising a power profile that is relatively more positive compared to the first viewing region; wherein at least one of the size of the second viewing region and the relatively more positive power of the second viewing region is selected based, at least in part, on the concentration of the pharmaceutical agent.

Ophthalmic lenses and methods for correcting, slowing, reducing, and/or controlling the progression of myopia in conjunction with use of atropine or related compounds

Described herein is a light directing assembly for use in an object analysis system. The light directing assembly includes a plurality of optical relay assemblies. Each optical relay assembly includes at least one optical element configured to relay an interrogation beam from a light transmission system to an object and relay a return beam from the object to the light transmission system, the return beam being generated by reflection or back scattering of the interrogation beam by the object. Each optical relay assembly defines an interrogation angle at which the interrogation beam relayed by the optical relay assembly reaches the object, and an optical path length being the distance from the light transmission system to the object travelled by an interrogation beam via the optical relay assembly. The plurality of optical relay assemblies are further configured such that the optical path length for a given optical relay assembly has a predefined relationship with the optical path lengths of the other optical relay assemblies.

Described herein is a light directing assembly for use in an object analysis system. The light directing assembly includes a plurality of optical relay assemblies.
