Provided is a transparent thermoplastic composition including 70 to 95% by weight of a copolymer of ethylene and of an ethylenic monomer carrying a polar functional group and 5 to 30% by weight of a peroxide, where the copolymer includes from 20 to 45% by weight of the ethylenic monomer carrying a polar functional group. The composition may be used for crosslinking polymers.

Master mixture composition including a peroxide

The use of a polymeric composition as an encapsulant in a photovoltaic module, said polymeric composition including a copolymer that comprises an ethylene monomer and a carboxylic acid vinyl ester comonomer, in particular an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer, and the polymeric composition having a Brookfield viscosity measured at 120&#xb0; C. of between 10,000 mPa&#xb7;s and 25,000 mPa&#xb7;s. Further, a method for encapsulating a photovoltaic module using this polymeric composition.

Use of a fluid polymeric composition for encapsulating photovoltaic modules

The invention relates to a transparent master mixture that includes an ethylene copolymer and an ethylene monomer having a polar function (a) and a peroxide (b), characterized in that said composition includes, by weight, from 5 to 30% of (b); from 70 to 95% of (a); and in that the copolymer (a) includes from 20 to 45 wt % of ethylene monomer having a polar function. The invention also relates to a method for producing a master mixture composition including an organic peroxide. The method makes it possible to produce a composition useful for cross-linking of polymers.

The invention relates to the use in a photovoltaic module of a film of a composition as a backsheet or as an encapsulant, this composition comprising, with respect to the total weight of the composition: from 1 to 99% of a polyethylene having an ethylene whose level by weight is greater than or equal to 80% chosen from the homopolymers of ethylene and the copolymers of ethylene and another alpha-olefin; from 99 to 1% of a polyolefin B, other than A, carrying a reactive functional group X chosen from the anhydride carboxylic acids and epoxides. The invention further relates to a photovoltaic module comprising the film of the composition according to the invention and also a process for the manufacture of this module.

Use of a polethylene-based film in a photovoltaic module

The invention relates to a binding agent comprising a mixture of a carboxylic acid vinyl ethylene ester copolymer (A) and a polyolefin (B) containing a functional monomer (X), the mass ratio B/(A+B) being between 0.05 and 1. Said binder has very good adhesion properties for adhering to a number of supports in photovoltaic modules, in addition to satisfactory transparency and electrical resistivity properties for the advantageous use of the binder in said module.
