A composite material containing a polymer composition and a very low concentration of carbon nanofillers, in particular carbon nanotubes, having improved mechanical properties. The method for producing said composite material and to the different uses thereof. The use of carbon nanofillers at a concentration of between 0.1 ppm and 99 ppm in order to improve mechanical properties, in particular the tensile properties of a polymer matrix encasing at least one polymer selected from a thermoplastic polymer alone or mixed with an elastomer resin base, while facilitating the shaping thereof into composite parts using any suitable technique, in particular injection, extrusion, compression or molding, and while improving the electrostatic dissipation capability thereof.

Also, the use of an oil-based masterbatch in the form of granules containing carbon nanotubes for manufacturing an aqueous or organic viscoelastic fluid, intended for drilling in underground formations.

The use of very low concentrations of carbon nanofillers selected from among carbon nanotubes, carbon nanofibers, graphene or a mixture of same in any proportions, in order to improve resistance to ageing, in particular protection against ultraviolet (UV) light, of a composite material based on a polymer matrix. A composite product comprising a composite material, the composite material stabilized with respect to UV light using a content of between 1 ppm and 0.1% by weight, of carbon-based nanofillers chosen from carbon nanotubes, carbon nanofibers, graphene or a mixture of these in all proportions, wherein the composite product is selected from yarns, films, tubes, fibers, and nonwovens.
