An apparatus configured for an outlet of a load out silo provided for dispensing proppant from the silo into a storage container. The apparatus comprises a diffuser spout having a housing configured for securing the diffuser spout to the silo outlet and a diffuser element including a first end disposed in the housing, a second end terminating below the housing and a conical sidewall extending between the first and second ends. Flanges extend from the housing for securing the diffuser element thereto.

Described is a system for conveying wet sand. The system includes containers with a slip coating for storing wet sand. Each container includes an outlet formed in a bottom portion to facilitate removal of the wet sand from the container to a hopper. Each hopper has end walls, side walls, and an interior wall extending at an angle from the top to the bottom of the hopper to reduce an area of the outlet. A flow gate over the outlet controls discharge of the wet sand from the hopper onto a conveyor belt of a conveyor system. The hopper also includes a vibration system coupled to its exterior surface for shaking the hopper to assist in releasing sand. A discharge assembly is located at the end of the conveyor system for directing wet sand from the conveyor belt.

A debris separator may include a housing having an inlet end, an outlet end, and an internal bore therebetween having a tapered discharge transitioning to the outlet end; and a filter basket connected to the housing at the inlet end and extending into the internal bore, thereby forming an annulus between the filter basket and the housing, the filter basket having a mesh size selected to pass a slurry of proppant therethrough and retain solid objects of a larger size than the proppant.
