The invention relates to a sensor(S), in particular for an electrical network of an electrically driven vehicle, in particular in an electric car. The sensor according to the invention comprises first of all a measuring device (ME) for current measurement and/or for voltage measurement in the electrical network, in particular with a low-resistance current sense resistor for current measurement according to the four-wire technique. Furthermore, the sensor(S) according to the invention comprises an integrated insulation monitoring device (ME, IQ, Rk, S) for monitoring an electrical insulation of high-side and/or low-side of the electrical network. The sensor(S) according to the invention is characterized by the fact that the insulation monitoring device (ME, IQ, Rk, S) operates actively and impresses measurement pulses into the electrical network for insulation monitoring.

The invention relates to a device and a method for insulation monitoring including identification of a faulty outer conductor in a three-phase ungrounded power supply system. The fundamental idea of the present invention rests upon determining the phase angle between the measured mains voltage and the measured neutral-point voltage when presuming only one measurement of the mains voltage to ground at one of the outer conductors and one measurement of the neutral-point voltage to ground. The value of the thus determined phase angle is in one of three angle ranges which each extend over 120 degrees and are to be assigned to one of the three outer conductors so that the faulty outer conductor is determined. The faulty outer conductor is thus detected by measuring only one mains voltage in conjunction with the measurement of the neutral-point voltage by evaluating the phase between the two measured voltage.

The invention relates to an insulation monitoring device for simultaneously monitoring an ungrounded power supply system comprising network sections that can be interconnected via coupling switches, comprising a signal generator for generating a measuring signal and a coupling circuit for coupling the measuring signal to the power supply system. According to the invention, the insulation monitoring device comprises a coupling circuit for each interconnectable network section to be monitored, a switchable electrical connecting element being arranged for connecting adjacent coupling circuits.

Insulation monitoring device for simultaneously monitoring network sections of an ungrounded power supply system

A pulse generator circuit arrangement for the search for insulation faults in IT networks includes a rectifier circuit for transforming an IT network voltage into a DC intermediate circuit and switching elements having a trigger signal input for switching on and off a DC intermediate circuit voltage. A circuit device downstream of the switching elements generates a pulsed current to be supplied to the IT network. The circuit arrangement includes a control and evaluating logic for determining the insulation resistance of the IT network and also a circuit device for generating the pulsed current, which is formed as a current regulating device and allows a dynamic adjustment of the pulsed current depending on the determined insulation resistance.
