A portable tool, such as a spreader tool, cutting tool or combination spreading/cutting tool is for mobile use. The tool has an electric motor, a rechargeable battery received on the tool, a mechanically or hydraulically driven, displaceable piston rod for performing spreading and/or cutting and/or lifting or pressing. An electronic control and regulation unit controls/regulates the electric motor, such as a brushless DC motor. The electronic control and regulation unit specifies a first operating mode in which the electric motor is operated at a first frequency, and a second operating mode in which the electric motor is operated at a second frequency. The operating mode is switchable by an operator of the tool using a manually operable switch between the first and the second operating modes. The rotational speed of a three-phase current electric motor is higher at the second frequency than at the first frequency.

Portable tool for mobile use

A mobile portable tool, such as a spreading device, cutting device or combined device with cutting and spreading function includes a housing. An electric motor is located in the housing. The tool includes a rechargeable battery or a connection to an external electrical energy source. The tool is a mechanically or hydraulically driven and has a displaceable piston rod spreading and/or cutting and/or lifting and/or pressing work. An electronic open-loop and closed-loop control unit controls the electric motor and includes a printed circuit board and control cables with a connector for transporting control signals. For under water operation while still having a simple design, the electric motor is a brushless direct-current motor. The electronic components of the printed circuit board are enclosed by a potting compound to prevent water entering, and the connector of the control cable is protected against the ingress of water.

A method for operating an electromechanical or electrohydraulic working device or rescue device is performed by an operator person and can be used autonomously. The working/rescue device includes a cutting tool having two cutting tool halves movable toward and away from one another and define a virtual cutting plane by their movement. The working/rescues device includes a housing, an electric motor; a pump or mechanical transmission, each driven by the electric motor for actuating the tool insert. An exchangeable rechargeable electrical energy source is in/on a device side of the working/rescue device and includes a housing. During operation of the working/rescue device, orientation of the working/rescue device is sensed and the relationship between the angular position of the working/rescue device cutting plane and the force applied by the cutting tool to the object to be cut is established and the working/rescue device is controlled in dependence on the relationship.

A control device for operating a fire extinguisher system includes at least one hose () having an extinguisher nozzle () arranged at the end of the hose () to be operated by an operator for releasing a pressurized extinguishing fluid. A conveying pump () conveys the pressurized extinguishing fluid in the hose () towards the extinguisher nozzle (). Control device for operating a fire extinguisher system

A method is for operating an electromechanical or electrohydraulic work appliance or rescue appliance that can be carried and used by an operator, having a movable tool insert, a spreading tool or a lifting tool, a housing, an electric motor, a pump or a mechanical transmission driven by the electric motor, for actuating the tool insert. The appliance has an exchangeable, rechargeable appliance electrical energy source, having a housing in or on the rescue appliance. During operation of the appliance, operating data of the appliance and/or of the energy source are acquired and transferred into a data carrier or data storage device in the electrical energy source. The electrical energy source is removed from the appliance and connected to a charging device. The operating data stored in the data carrier or storage device of the electrical energy source are read by the charging device and transferred to a network.

A shear blade () is for a portable hydraulic cutting device, such as a rescue device having a blade body (). The blade body () has an assembly region () and a cutting region (), a cutting edge () in the cutting region (), a contact surface (), located on one side of the cutting edge (), for an additional shear blade. An outer surface (), located on the other side of the cutting edge (), is provided to act on the object to be cut. The cutting region () has a recess () for receiving a cutting insert (). The recess () is configured such that the cutting insert () is insertable into the recess () at an acute angle &#x3b4; to the contact surface () of the shear blade ().

Shear blade for a cutting tool

A shear blade is for a portable hydraulic cutting device having a blade body. The blade body has assembly and cutting regions, with a cutting edge in the cutting region. A contact surface is on one side of the cutting edge for an additional shear blade. An outer surface on the other side of the cutting edge acts on the object to be cut. A first surface portion of the outer surface extends away from the cutting edge along an orthogonal, which meets the contact surface at the cutting edge, or at an acute angle &#x3b1; relative to the orthogonal. A second surface portion connects to the first surface portion at an acute angle &#x3b2; to the orthogonal. A hydraulic implement () for portable use includes a hydraulic pump (), a pump housing (), a hydraulic cylinder () with a piston rod (), a hydraulic tank (), hydraulic lines, a compensating device, a manually operable hydraulic control valve (), a rechargeable battery () which is accommodated on the implement (), and two tool halves () that are connected to the piston rod () via pivoting arms (). Each tool half () has a wall section () that extends perpendicularly to the extension of the longitudinal axis of the piston rod (). When the tool halves are closed, both wall sections () together form a flattened end region () that runs perpendicularly to the extension of the longitudinal axis of the piston rod ().

Hydraulic implement

The present invention relates to a portable rescue cylinder () having a hydraulic cylinder () which is operated hydraulically and which can extend, said hydraulic cylinder having a first end and a second end opposite the same, wherein a force is generated by means of enlargement of the distance between the first and the second ends, having a hydraulic tank (), having a pump () for driving the hydraulic cylinder (), having a power source for supplying the pump () with power, and having a switch device () for the operation of the hydraulic cylinder (). In order to provide a device which is as comfortable as possible and has small dimensions, it is suggested that the hydraulic tank and the pump should be integrated components of the rescue cylinder. Particularly, the hydraulic tank () and the pump () are located in a housing () which is located directly on the rescue cylinder () and/or the hydraulic cylinder ().

Rescue cylinder

The invention relates to a portable hydraulic pump unit () comprising a housing (), a pump (), a drive motor () for the pump (), in particular in the form of an electric drive motor, in addition to a reservoir () for hydraulic fluid. According to the invention, the housing () is tubular and (when viewed in cross-section) point symmetrical, e.g. cylindrical, square, triangular or polygonal. The advantage of the hydraulic pump unit is that is can be positioned and transported in the receptacles of conventional portable tank carriers, in particular for the tanks of protective breathing apparatus.
