An autoinjector includes a case adapted to hold a medicament container having a needle telescopically coupled to the case and movable between a first extended position relative to the case in which the needle is covered and a retracted position relative to the case in which the needle is exposed. The autoinjector includes a plunger rotationally and slidably disposed in the case rotatable relative to the case between a first rotational position in which the plunger is engaged to the case and a second rotational position in which the plunger disengages the case engages the plunger to rotate the plunger from the first rotational position to the second rotational position when the needle shroud translates from the first extended position to the retracted position. The autoinjector includes a cap removably coupled to the case includes at least one compliant case beam adapted to releasably engage at least one aperture in the case.

Autoinjector

The disclosure relates to an audible indicator for use with a drug delivery device comprising a bistable resilient force member capable of residing in two states. In a biased state, the resilient force member is biased and stores energy In a relaxed state, the resilient force member is relaxed. The resilient force member releases the stored energy when transitioning from the biased state into the relaxed state, thereby generating an audible signal.

Audible indicator

An autoinjector includes a case adapted to hold a medicament container having a needle, a needle shroud telescopically coupled to the case, and a plunger rotationally and slidably disposed in the case. The needle shroud is movable between a first extended position relative to the case in which the needle is covered and a retracted position relative to the case in which the needle is exposed. The plunger is rotatable relative to the case between a first rotational position in which the plunger is engaged to the case and a second rotational position in which the plunger disengages the case. The needle shroud is operably coupled to the plunger. When the needle shroud translates from the first extended position to the retracted position, the plunger rotates from the first rotational position to the second rotational position.

The disclosure relates to a drug delivery device including a plunger disposed within a case and an audible indicator that comprises a resilient element. The plunger is slidable from a proximal position to a distal position within the case and the resilient element is in a first configuration when the plunger is in the proximal position, such that the resilient element is deflected radially outwards to a second configuration during movement of the plunger from the proximal position towards the distal position. The resilient element moves from the second configuration towards the first configuration when the plunger moves towards or reaches the distal position, thereby generating an audible and tactile signal.

Drug delivery device

The disclosure relates to an audible indicator in combination with a drug delivery device having a resilient force member capable of resting in either of two states. In a biased state, the resilient force member is biased and stores energy and in a relaxed state, the resilient force member is relaxed. The resilient force member releases the stored energy when changing from the biased state into the relaxed state, thereby generating an audible signal, wherein the resilient force member is supported by a retaining element in the biased state in order to prevent transition into the relaxed state.

A drug delivery device including a case adapted to hold a medicament container, a plunger disposed within the case and slidable from a proximal position into a distal position for delivering a medicament from the medicament container, and an audible indicator that is arranged within a case pocket lateral to the plunger and that is in operative connection with the plunger. The audible indicator includes at least one indicator spring and at least one locking element, where the indicator spring is biased by the locking element, and the indicator spring relaxes due to a release of the locking element by a movement of the plunger.

Needle shroud assemblies comprising a needle shroud and a support component. The disclosure further relates to an autoinjector and a method of assembling the autoinjector. A syringe carrier is disclosed comprising a housing adapted to receive a syringe. They syringe includes a needle encapsulated by a removable protective needle sheath. The syringe carrier further includes two or more flexible arms protruding outwards in a relaxed state and adapted to couple with the syringe in a mounted position. In the mounted position, the flexible arms deflect radially inwards due, in part, to an axial force operating on the syringe carrier.

Autoinjector and method of assembling

A shroud lock for locking a position of a needle shroud relative to a housing of an autoinjector, includes a shroud beam arranged on the needle shroud and biased radially outwards, a stop arranged within the housing, a recess arranged proximal of the stop, and a cap coupled to the housing and adapted to prevent distal translation of the needle shroud relative to the housing. At least a portion of the shroud beam is within the recess when the cap is in place and, the shroud beam abuts the stop after the needle shroud is locked relative to the housing of the autoinjector. The disclosure further relates to an autoinjector and to a method for assembling such an autoinjector.

Shroud lock

The disclosure relates to a syringe support for supporting an axial position of a syringe relative to a housing of an autoinjector. The syringe support includes a supporting beam arranged on the syringe support and biased radially inwards. The supporting beam is adapted to axially bias the syringe in a distal direction within the housing. The disclosure further relates to an autoinjector.
