Phenyl triazole derivative (specifically, 1-[6-[[5-(2-fluorophenyl)-3-methyl-triazol-4-yl]methoxy]-3-pyridyl]imidazole-4-carbonitrile or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof), pharmaceutical compositions containing this compound, and methods of treatment therewith. The compound is in particular considered useful for the treatment of central nervous system diseases and disorders which are responsive to modulation of GABAreceptors containing the &#x3b1;5 subunit.
