A method and a device for measuring the topography and/or the gradients and/or the curvature of an optically active surface of an object are disclosed. The device allows the object to be arranged in a receiving region with a contact surface for contact with the object. Inside the device, there is a plurality of point light sources that provide light that is reflected at the surface to be measured of an object arranged in the receiving region. The device includes at least one camera with an objective assembly and an image sensor for detecting a brightness distribution which is produced on a light sensor by the light of the point light sources reflected at the surface to be measured.

Device and method for measuring a surface topography, and calibration method

The local refractive power or the refractive power distribution of a spectacle lens is measured. A first image of a scene having a plurality of structure points and a left and/or a right spectacle lens of a frame front is captured with an image capturing device from a first capture position having an imaging beam path for structure points, which extends through the spectacle lens of the frame front. At least two further images of the scene are captured with the image capturing device from different capture positions, one of which can be identical with the first capture position, without the spectacle lenses of the spectacles or without the frame front containing the spectacle lenses having the structure points imaged in the first image, and the coordinates of the structure points in a coordinate system are calculated from the at least two further images of the scene by image analysis.

An apparatus and a method for measuring individual data of spectacles arranged in a measurement position are disclosed. The spectacles have a left and/or a right spectacle lens. The apparatus has a display for displaying a test structure. The apparatus contains an image capture device for capturing the test structure with an imaging beam path which passing through the left spectacle lens and/or the right spectacle lens of the spectacles. Further, the apparatus includes a computer unit with a computer program for determining a refractive power distribution for at least a section of the left spectacle lens and/or the right spectacle lens from the image of the test structure captured by the image capture device and a known spatial orientation of the display relative to the image capture device. To measure individual data of spectacles, the spectacles are arranged in a measurement position.

Method and device for measuring the local refractive power and/or the refractive power distribution of a spectacle lens

A device for measuring the optical effect of an ophthalmic lens, in particular a spectacle lens, includes a display system, an image acquisition system, and a computer unit. During measurement, the lens is arranged in a measurement volume of the device. The display system displays a test structure and the image acquisition system acquires image data of the test structure from multiple viewpoints using imaging optical paths which pass through the lens. The computer unit determines the three-dimensional shape of the lens on the basis of the image data and calculates an optical effect of the lens on the basis of its three-dimensional shape. A corresponding method and computer program are also disclosed.

Methods, devices, and computer programs for determining a near-vision point of a person are disclosed. The person under examination looks at a movable near-vision target, and an image of the person is captured with a camera device incorporated into the near-vision target. The orientation and/or position of the near-vision target is determined. The near-vision point is then determined from the orientation and/or position of the near-vision target.

Method and system for determining the spatial structure of an object

An optical arrangement for the non-contact measurement or testing of properties of a solid's surface, such as curvature, shape, contour, roughness or alignment. An optical arrangement includes structure for establishing a gap between the solid's surface and a reference edge, structure for imaging the gap on a detector, and an analyzing system connected to the detector. The analyzing system is designed to determine gap widths lying adjacent to each other on the basis of the output signals of the detector, and to determine curvature, shape, contour or roughness of the solid's surface on the basis of the gap widths lying adjacent to each other. From the comparison of the images obtained from any two positions within a drilled hole, deductions can be made, among other things, about any tilt between the measuring object and the measuring system.
