A positioning unit for positioning an optical unit in an optical path of a microscope between a microscope lens and in front of an eye to be examined includes a connection device coupling the positioning unit to the microscope. The positioning unit includes an accommodating device configured to adapt an ophthalmoscopic lens that serves to examine an ocular fundus to the positioning unit as an optical element of the optical unit. The positioning unit includes a positioning device to move the ophthalmoscopic lens relative to the microscope in the longitudinal direction of the optical path. The accommodating device presents an adjusting means for displacing the ophthalmoscopic lens in an adjusting plane that runs orthogonally relative to the optical path of the microscope.

Positioning unit and examination device

The invention relates to a trial frame for determining the subjective refraction of a subject, comprising two lens holder devices for receiving insert lenses, a bridge, which connects the lens holder devices in such a manner that their distance relative to each other is adjustable, a nose rest device having a pivotable and height-adjustable nose rest and two temples, which are adjustable in length and height, the nose rest device having an adjustment gear for adjusting the height of the nose rest, the adjustment gear having a toothed rack and a bevel worm wheel, which are engaged with each other.

Trial frame

The invention relates to a trial frame for determining the subjective refraction of a subject, comprising two lens holder devices for receiving lenses, a bridge, which adjustably connects the lens holder devices, a nose rest device having a pivotable and height-adjustable nose rest and two temples, which are adjustable in length and height, the bridge and the lens holder devices together forming a guide means for guiding the lens holder devices in the longitudinal direction of the bridge, the bridge having a spindle gear comprising a threaded spindle for adjusting the distance of the lens holder devices, wherein at least one guide protrusion is formed on each of the lens holder devices, said guide protrusion engaging into a guide groove formed in the bridge, open threaded sections being formed on each of the lens holder devices, the threaded spindle being engaged with the threaded section.

An eyesight testing apparatus includes an imaging device for virtual imaging a test object located within a focal length of the imaging device and imaged at different distances into eyes of a subject located in a focal point of the imaging device, an optical deflection device arranged in a beam path between the imaging device and the test object to deflect the beam path by 180&#xb0;, wherein the deflection device is displaceable in the direction of the beam path and the test object is not, a monitor device that generates the test object and that comprises a single monitor, optical components lying in the beam path sized so that both eyes are able to take part in a test, and so a partial beam path is formed for each eye, and a blocking device arranged in the beam path, which comprises two LCD blocking elements for the partial beam paths.

Eyesight testing apparatus

The present invention relates to a positioning apparatus () of a positioning unit for positioning an optical device of the positioning unit comprising at least one optical element in the ray path of a microscope in front of an eye to be observed, wherein the positioning apparatus comprises a carrier device () for coupling the positioning apparatus to the microscope and a holding apparatus () for holding the optical element, whereby the holding apparatus comprises holding devices () for connection of the optical device to the holding apparatus which are configured in such a manner that a distance space () is formed between the optical device and the holding apparatus.

Measuring instrument

A vision-testing device for examining the crepuscular vision, which has several visual signs which can be placed at random into the beam path, and a glare light source, all in a closed housing. The device has in extension of the axis of the eye a partially transparent mirror inclined with respect to the axis of the eye and a refractive element. The vision-testing device is compact, light and robust in design and enables a testing of the crepuscular visual acuity and the dazzle sensitivity. The refractive element consists of an achromatic lens inserted into the beam path, and covering the visual range of both eyes or a concentrating reflector, at the focal point of which is provided the visual sign location. The carrier for the visual signs to be located at the visual sign location can be arranged movably such that any of the multiple visual signs placed on the carrier can be moved into the beam path. A filter can also be swung into and out of the beam path between the light source and the visual sign location. The glare light source is arranged stationarily next to the transilluminated visual sign location. One or several diaphragms with varying diaphragm openings are provided above the visual sign carrier, which diaphragms can be moved selectively into the beam path.

Vision-testing device

Sight testing apparatus, in particular sight testing apparatus with a free through-view, for examining near-sightedness and far-sightedness and color and stereoscopic vision, can operate with test objects which are located within the focal length of an imaging device and are imaged at different distances into the eye, located at the focus of the imaging device, of a subject under test. For this purpose, the size of the image must be able to be altered. For this purpose, an optical full deflection device is provided in the beam path between the image device and the test object, deflects the beam path through 180.degree. and is constructed so as to be displaceable.
