Systems are provided for an optical device. The optical device comprises a lens actuation system including a motor, a flywheel, a connecting linkage, a plurality of articulating arms, and a lens. The lens is housed in a frame coupled to the articulating arms and driven via the lens actuation system between an upstream position and a downstream position.

The present disclosure provides a dynamic framing system for shaping a light beam. The framing system comprises a first shutter system comprising a first blade and a second blade, a second shutter system comprising a third blade and a fourth blade, and a blade divider forming an aperture. The first shutter system and the second shutter system are arranged on opposite sides of the blade divider. Each blade constitutes an intermediate bar in a five-bar linkage between two sets of outer bars, each set comprising a motorized bar and a passive bar. At least one of the motorized bars has a length being larger than a diameter of the aperture.

A light fixture including a stepper motor comprising a stepper motor stator and a stepper motor rotor. The stepper motor rotor includes a stepper motor axle and is rotatable around a stepper motor axis. The stepper motor is connected to a movable object and is configured to move the movable object in relation to a reference point. A damping mass is attached to the stepper motor axle. The damping mass has a rotational inertia in relation to the stepper motor axis which is at least as large as the rotational inertia of the stepper motor rotor in relation to the stepper motor axis. A method of damping the sound generated by a light fixture comprising a step of attaching a damping mass to a stepper motor axle.

The present invention relates to an illumination device comprising a number of light sources arranged in at least a first group of light sources and in a second group of light sources, where said first group of light sources and said second group of light sources are individually controllable. Optical means collect light from the first and second group of light sources and convert the collected light into a number of first and second light beams. The illumination device comprises further zoom adapted to change the beam diverges and/or width of respectively the first and second light beams and rotating means adapted to change the refraction of the light source beam in relation to a primary optical axis.

A framing system for shaping light beam comprises a frame support having a number of shutter blades surrounding said light beam, and a number of actuators that move said shutter blades in and out of said light beam. The shutter blades form a merged pile, where part of a first shutter blade is placed over a part of a second shutter blade. A first actuator rotates at least one of said shutter blades in relation to a first rotational point and a second actuator moves the first rotational point in relation to said light beam. A method of shaping a light beam is provided, and involves rotating a shutter blade around a first rotation point using a first actuator, and moving the first rotation point in relation to the light beam using a second actuator.
