A plug connector pluggable together with a counter connector includes a connector housing having a guiding member and a lever device. The lever device has a lever transferrable from a plug position to a securing position, a coupling that is movable by the lever to engage the counter connector, and a lever extension attached to the lever and extendable and/or retractable with respect to the lever. A swivel movement of the lever out of the securing position is blocked by the lever extension retracted with respect to the lever. The guiding member blocks a shifting of the lever extension if the lever is moved out of the plug position and is not in the securing position.

A contact carrier includes a carrier body receiving a plurality of contacts and a fastening element fastening the carrier body to a carrier element. The fastening element includes a first clamping element connected to the carrier body, a second clamping element formed on the carrier body in a shiftable manner and opposite the first clamping element, and a locking device locking the second clamping element in a position relative to the first clamping element. A distance between the first clamping element and the second clamping element can be varied by a relative movement of the second clamping element in relation to the first clamping element. The first clamping element and the second clamping element, by the locking device, exert a clamping force onto the carrier element arranged between the first clamping element and the second clamping element to hold the carrier element.

The invention relates to a plug type connector, a counter-connector and a plug type connector arrangement. In order to protect a contact position (P) of the plug type connector against undesirable displacement relative to the counter-connector of the plug type connector arrangement, without undesirable forces occurring, there is provision according to the invention for the plug type connector and the counter-connector to have clamping faces which extend transversely relative to a connection direction (V) and which are clamped to each other via a fixing means.

The present invention relates to an electrical connector with an electrically insulating contact carrier and with at least one electrically conducting contact element which is held in the contact carrier. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a manufacturing method for manufacturing a connector of this type. Changes in dimension in the geometry of the contact carrier and also fluctuations in spacing and geometry in the enclosing shielding cause impedance inhomogeneities in the signal propagation direction that adversely influence the signal quality. Furthermore, it may be necessary to purposefully set the impedance so as to differ from the nominal impedance. The present invention relates to an electrical plug connector assembly comprising a first connector (), a second connector (), a third connector () and a fourth connector (). The first and the second connector () form a first pair of connectors. The third and the fourth connector () form a second pair of connectors. The first connector () and the third connector () are arranged on a housing (). A locking element () is provided on the housing (). The locking element () is configured as a slide and is displaceably mounted on the housing (). In a starting position, the locking element () blocks at least partially an insertion opening () on the housing () for inserting the fourth connector () into the third connector (). The second connector () has a guide bolt (). The locking element () has guide surface (). On connection of the second connector () to the first connector (), the guide bolt () acts on the guide surface () to urge the locking element () into a release position. In the release position, the locking element () clears the insertion opening () for connecting the fourth connector () to the third connector ().

A plug for a connector arrangement consisting of a plug and an associated mating plug, has a housing which has at least one axial receiver for an optical fiber and a protective device movably mounted in the housing for protecting the optical fiber. The protective device according to the invention is designed as a slide which can be moved axially to the receiver and the slide has a aperture for the optical fiber and/or the receiver.
