In some examples, the data may aggregated and analyzed to assess risk associated with the user in order to determine or adjust an insurance rate, premium, and/or incentive.

Device sensing

Systems and methods are provided for automatically changing or updating insurance coverage using a computer device. An insurance analyzer may receive data associated with an insurance user. The insurance analyzer may determine types of insurance coverage available and coverage amounts associated with the received user data. Based on the received data the insurance analyzer may automatically activate insurance coverage based on determined types of insurance available and coverage amounts. The insurance analyzer may also deactivate insurance coverage or change insurance coverage amounts based on determined user activity.

Instant insurance

Systems, methods, apparatuses and computer-readable media for receiving data from one or more sensors associated with one or more home devices, such as appliances, home systems, etc. are presented. In some examples, the data may be used to determine whether the home device is operating within an expected range. The data may be used to identify abnormal operating conditions in a first home. Based on the identified abnormal operating conditions a root cause of the abnormal operating conditions may be determined. A message may be transmitted to at least one additional home. The message may include the root cause of the abnormal operating conditions occurring in the first home. The message may be used to alert other homes to current conditions so that they can take preventive action. The data may also be used to determine an insurance rate or premium for participating homes.

Connected home and alert notifications

Systems, methods, apparatuses and computer-readable media for receiving data from one or more sensors associated with one or more home devices of a user, such as appliances, home systems, etc. and/or one or more sensors associated with a vehicle of the user, and/or receiving data associated with a lifestyle of the user are presented. In some examples, the data may aggregated and analyzed to assess risk associated with the user in order to determine or adjust an insurance rate or premium.

Systems, methods, apparatuses and computer-readable media for receiving data from one or more sensors associated with one or more home devices, such as appliances, home systems, etc. are presented. In some examples, the data may be used to determine whether the home device is operating within an expected range. The data may also be used to determine an insurance rate or premium for a user associated with the home device(s). In some arrangements, the data may be used to determine an age of a home device, as well as a likelihood of failure of that device. This information may be used to determine or adjust insurance premiums or rates and/or provide incentives to users to repair or replace the home device(s).

Home device sensing

Systems, methods, apparatuses and computer-readable media for receiving data from one or more sensors associated with one or more home devices, such as appliances, home systems, etc. are presented. In some examples, the data may be used to determine whether the home device is operating within an expected range. The system may determine a home profile and/or neighborhood rating factor which may be used to adjust insurance premiums. The home profile may be generated based on the normal operating conditions of the home based on the analysis of the sensor data. An insurance premium rate may be determined based on the generated home profile and neighborhood rating factor.

Connected home and home profiles

Systems, methods, apparatuses and computer-readable media for receiving data from one or more sensors or devices associated with one or more users are presented. In some examples, data may be filtered and analyzed to determine a risk profile for a user. In addition, the system may also determine a neighborhood risk profile for a number of users located in the same geographical location. The risk profile and the neighborhood profile may be used to determine or adjust a user's insurance premiums.

Data hub

A first amount of insurance may be determined for a first set of at least one insured entities covered under a single insurance policy. Replacement cost factor data relating to the single insurance policy may be received from at least one source. Received replacement cost factor data may be used to determine a first replacement cost for the first set of at least one insured entities covered under the single insurance policy. A determination may be made that the first amount of insurance is greater than the first replacement cost. A first insurance premium may be calculated for the single insurance policy using at least the first amount of insurance and the first replacement cost. The calculated insurance premium may be less than a second insurance premium for a second set of at least one insured entities for which a second amount of insurance and a second replacement cost are both equal to the first amount of insurance.
