The widget is for dynamically displaying multimedia content, is embeddable, and is copyable. The configuration includes an event with which the widget is associated. The multimedia content includes at least one updatable tracking mechanism for the event.

The method and system include receiving a plurality of parameters for an ancestor widget of the widget.
