A vibration damper is provided with two rotating members, i.e. an oscillating inertial flywheel and a member to be damped driven by a torque following a torque path between a driving member and a driven member, wherein the inertial flywheel is connected kinematically to the torque path between the driving member and the driven member solely by way of the member to be damped. Connecting modules between the two rotating members permit a relative angular displacement &#x3b8; between the two rotating members on the two sides of a reference relative angular position. Each connecting module is provided with a roller associated with a first of the two rotating members and a cam track connected resiliently by a resilient element to a second of the two rotating members.

Vibration damper, associated damping mechanism and propulsion assembly

A vibration damper for a torque transmission device comprising a first element and a second element which are rotatable relative to each other around an axis of rotation X; and damping means for transmitting a torque and damping the rotational acyclisms between the first element and the second element. The damping means comprise an elastic blade mounted securely on the first element and provided with a cam surface; and the damper comprises a cam follower carried by the second element and arranged to cooperate with the cam surface. The cam surface is arranged such that, for an angular travel between the first element and the second element relative to an angular rest position, the cam follower exerts a flexion force on the elastic blade producing a reaction force able to return the first and second elements to the angular rest position.

Vibration damper for a torque transmission device of a motor vehicle

Damper for an automobile clutch

A clutch release bearing assembly comprises a coupling part adapted to couple a clutch release bearing to a clutch release device of a clutch. A substantially axial bush is attached to the clutch release device. There is an engagement bearing surface at the end of this bush. A drive part which is part of the clutch release bearing comprises an annular groove. A decoupling part is slidably mounted on the drive part. A fastening device operative in traction is disposed between the coupling part and the drive part. It couples these parts in the axial direction from the clutch release device to the clutch release bearing. It comprises an annular fastening ring which is disposed around the axis of the assembly. This ring is elastically deformable in the radial direction and at least partially interlocked on the clutch release bearing side with a bearing surface on the coupling part. On the opposite side it is at least partially interlocked with a bearing surface on the drive part formed by one of the flanks of the groove on the drive part. The other flank of this groove is movable axially relative to the first-mentioned flank and forms part of the decoupling part. This comprises a positioning device which is elastically deformable inwardly and which has an outside diameter when unstressed which is greater than the inside diameter of the engagement bearing surface on the bush. The positioning device bears on the engagement bearing surface during assembly so as to urge the decoupling part towards the transverse abutment member.
