The invention relates to an aptamer, the structure thereof comprising at least one nucleotide sequence 5'-GGCA(A/G)GGA-3&#x2032;, that can specifically bind to the poly(A) hairpin of the 5&#x2032;UTR region of the genome of the human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1), providing the method for producing aptamers with said sequence by means of a combination of experimental techniques of in vitro selection of nucleic acids with computational techniques of sequence optimization. The invention also relates to a DNA gene structure for synthesizing said aptamers, preferably RNA. The invention further relates to the different uses of the above-mentioned aptamer, including the use thereof as a biosensor molecule for detecting and/or quantifying HIV-1, as an inhibitor of the production of viral particles of HIV-1, and to the application thereof in medicine, the invention also relating to a method for treating a disease caused by HIV-1, and to a pharmaceutical composition comprising said aptamer.

The present invention refers to a method for detecting molecules and/or substances within a sample based on the use of a microcantilever system. The method comprises the variation of a certain condition such as humidity so as the mechanical feature analyzed varies with a characteristic pattern while the target molecule is bound to the detector. The invention also refers to the system used to carry out such method.

Method and system for detection of a selected type of molecules in a sample

The invention relates to the field of biosensors and, more specifically, to nanoparticle biosensors comprising: a magnetic core, a silica layer, one or more outer metal layers which can be of different types and deposited in an alternating manner and immobilized on the outer surface, and a layer of synthetic or natural organic or inorganic biosensor molecules that can bind to biomolecules. The invention also relates to a method of obtaining the nanoparticle biosensors as well as to the different uses thereof.

Nanoparticle biosensor, method of preparing same and uses thereof

The invention relates to a method and apparatus for detecting substances or analytes form the analysis of one or several samples. The method comprises mixing the sample with a suitable liquid buffer, homogenizing said sample, adding reagents thereto, filtering it, injecting the sample into the incubation chamber, allowing the sample to react with a biosensor, washing the non-reacted sample excess and detecting the sample retained in the biosensor. The apparatus includes a sample homogenizer module with an ultrasonic piezoelectric device formed by a converter () and a horn (); a sample processing module including a homogenization container () and a moving frame (); a reagent and solution management module including a motorized syringe (), a reaction module consisting of a support () forming a reaction chamber () and a data reading module including a laser diode () and a CCD camera ().
