An actuator device of a braking device and a clutch may have a pump provided with a single operating device for pressurizing a fluid by a float, and a first delivery circuit and a second delivery circuit fluidly connected to an outlet of the pump. The first delivery circuit may be fluidly connectable to a braking device, the second delivery circuit may be fluidly connectable to a clutch. The actuator device may have a diverter device suitable for fluidly connecting the output of the pump alternately with the first delivery circuit and with the second delivery circuit, so as to alternately actuate the braking device or the clutch.

A caliper body has a first elongated vehicle-side element facing a first braking surface, a second elongated wheel-side element facing a second braking surface opposite to the first braking surface, each having at least one thrust seat receiving a thrust device biasing at least one brake pad against the braking surfaces, and at least one caliper bridge connecting the first elongated vehicle-side element to the second elongated wheel-side element. The caliper body has caliper fixing elements connecting the caliper body to a vehicle mount, the caliper fixing elements being at least three in number and distributed along the first elongated vehicle-side element. The first elongated vehicle-side element and second wheel-side element may have each at least two pad seats, each receiving at least one brake pad and at least two opposite abutment elements abuttingly receiving a brake pad for relieving the braking action on the caliper body.

A braking system for vehicles comprising &#x2014;a manual actuator device, operable by means of a lever and/or pedal, operatively connected to at least a first braking device acting on a brake disc or drum, so as to exercise a braking action, &#x2014;an automatic actuator device, operatively connected to said manual actuator device and/or to said first braking device, &#x2014;at least one command panel which supervises the functioning of the braking system, said command panel being operatively connected to the automatic actuator device and being programmed so that when the manual actuator device is operated, the panel commands the operation of the automatic actuator device so as to be able to: &#x2014;increase the overall braking action of the braking system, further operating the first braking device or further braking devices provided in said system and acting on further brake discs or drums, &#x2014;control the braking action of the braking system so as not to further operate the first braking device or further braking devices of the system, &#x2014;reduce the overall braking action imposed by means of the manual actuator device, directly countering the thrust action exercised on the lever and/or on the pedal.

Automatically controlled braking system

A braking system with a brake pump are described. The brake pump may have a first and a second delivery circuit fluidically connectable to at least a first and a second braking device. The first delivery circuit may have an indirect stage fluidically connectable to the first braking device and a direct stage intercepted by a first control valve, fluidically connectable alternately to a braking simulator and to the at least one second braking device. The second delivery circuit may be intercepted by the first control valve so as to actuate the second braking device alternately to the direct stage of the first delivery circuit.

A caliper and supporting assembly for a disc brake may have a brake caliper with a caliper body adapted to straddle an associable disc of the disc brake, a supporting element connected to a caliper body, where the caliper body may have a first portion, and the supporting element may have a second portion. During braking action, the caliper body elastically deforms according to at least one predetermined direction, thereby determining a displacement in at least the predetermined direction of the first portion of the caliper body with respect to the second portion of the supporting element. The caliper and supporting assembly may also have at least one detecting device which detects a distance at least along the predetermined direction between the first portion of the caliper body and the second portion of the supporting element.

A brake caliper for a disc brake having a caliper body, a brake pad and at least one retraction device of the brake pad from a braking disc is described. The device is configured to retract the brake pad from at least one of opposite braking surfaces delimited by the braking disc. The caliper body delimits a first pad abutment surface to delimit a tapered space with the braking surface of the braking disc, the first pad abutment surface being oriented so that, during the braking action, the surface guides the brake pad wedging in the tapered space. The brake pad delimits a retraction surface, inclined in a non-orthogonal direction with respect to the pad plane and oriented so that, during the retraction action, the brake pad is guided partially outside of the tapered space.

Brake caliper

A braking system for vehicles having a master cylinder, and at least one braking device. The master cylinder has a first and a second output circuit, containing the same brake fluid. The first output circuit is intercepted by a first control valve fluidically connected to a braking simulator and to the at least one braking device so as to alternately connect the first output circuit to the braking simulator or to the at least one braking device for its actuation. The second output circuit is fluidically connected to the at least one braking device for its actuation, an automatic hydraulic actuation unit operatively connected to the master cylinder by a hydraulic actuation circuit containing an actuation fluid distinct from the brake fluid and fluidically separated from this. And, at least a processing and control unit of the system that supervises the operation of the braking systems.

Automatic control braking system for vehicles

A braking system for vehicles includes a hydraulic actuator unit operatively connected to at least one braking device, so as to control its actuation by a first hydraulic circuit at a first working pressure. The hydraulic actuator unit includes at least one manual actuator for a user to allow the user to supply the braking system with a braking request. A power generation unit is operatively connected to the hydraulic actuator unit by a second hydraulic circuit at a second working pressure. An actuated brake pump is connected in input to the second hydraulic circuit of the power generation unit to be actuated, and operatively connected, in output, to the first hydraulic circuit for actuation of the at least one braking device. The first and the second hydraulic circuits are supplied with different hydraulic fluids fluidically separate from each other.

Automatically controlled braking system for vehicles and method of actuating and controlling a braking system for vehicles

A braking system for vehicles having a master cylinder, and at least one braking device. The master cylinder may be provided with a first and a second output circuit, containing respectively a first and second brake fluid. The first output circuit may be fluidically connected to a braking simulator and the second output circuit may be fluidically connected to the at least one braking device for its actuation. An automatic hydraulic actuation unit operatively connected to the master cylinder by a hydraulic actuation circuit traversed by an actuation fluid distinct from the first and second brake fluid may be provided. A processing and control unit of the system that supervises the operation of the braking systems may also be provided.

A braking system for vehicles comprising a pilot pump provided with a manual actuation means, the pilot pump being fluidically connected to a hydraulic actuator device in turn operatively connected to a braking device associated with a wheel of said vehicle, wherein the hydraulic actuator device delimits a first and a second actuation chamber fluidically separated by a movable septum along an axial direction X-X, the first actuation chamber containing fluid pressurized by the pilot pump, the second actuation chamber being filled with fluid under pressure and being provided with a delivery duct fluidically connected to said braking device. Advantageously, the hydraulic actuator device comprises a by-pass, offset axially with respect to said delivery duct and fluidically connected with the latter, the movable septum being connected to motor means in order to translate axially, independently of the braking action imposed through the manual actuation means of the pilot pump, the system comprising a processing unit and control operatively connected with the motor means and programmed so as to pass from a condition of standard operation or deactivation of the motor means, in which the movable septum connects the first actuation chamber with the by-pass and with the second actuation chamber, to a braking correction condition in which the motor means are activated to move the movable septum so that the first actuation chamber is fluidically separated from the by-pass and the second actuation chamber. In this way, the second actuation chamber, fluidically connected to the delivery duct, commands the actuation of the braking device, excluding the action imposed by the user through the pressurized fluid in the first actuation chamber.
