A helmet includes a shell having a front portion, a crown portion, and a rear portion. The helmet additionally includes a chin strap having a first attachment body and a second attachment body defining a strap length therebetween, with the chin strap being configured to allow for selective adjustment of the strap length. The first attachment body and the second attachment body are each pivotally connected to the shell such that the chin strap is selectively pivotable relative to the shell between a stored position and a deployed position. The chin strap moves toward the front portion of the shell as the chin strap pivots from the deployed position toward the stored position. At least a portion of the chin strap is semi-rigid so as to be disposable in tension and compression without changing shape.

A helmet comprises a shell having a front portion, a rear portion, and a pair of lateral portions extending between the front portion and the rear portion. The shell is sized and configured to be placeable on the head of a user. The helmet additionally includes a chin strap having a pair of end portions and an intermediate portion located between the pair of end portions. The end portions are fixedly connected to respective ones of the pair of lateral portions of the shell so as to restrict movement of the end portions relative to the shell. The chin strap is flexible to facilitate placement of the chin strap around a chin of a user in connection with placement of the shell on the head of the user.

A selectively adjustable torque indicating tool is provided for rotating a mechanical fastener to a predetermined torque setting. The tool includes a pair of supports and a tool bit positioned between the pair of supports and engageable with a mechanical fastener such that when the tool bit, a rotational force is imparted on the mechanical fastener. A spring is coupled to the pair of supports, and operatively coupled to the tool bit. The spring includes a first end portion movable relative to the pair of supports between a neutral position and a torqued position in response to the rotational force being imparted on the mechanical fastener by the tool bit. An adjuster is coupled to the spring to adjust a stiffness of the spring such that movement of the first end portion of the spring from the neutral position to the torqued position corresponds to a predefined rotational force.

A clipless bicycle pedal including an axle, connectable to a bicycle crank arm, and a locking mechanism, connected to the axle, suitable to engage/disengage a cleat assembly of a cycling shoe. The locking mechanism includes a sleeve, inserted along the axle, an inner loop and an outer loop, inserted along the sleeve and free to rotate around the sleeve, so that the inner loop is contained within the outer loop. The locking mechanism further includes a cam, included between the inner loop and the outer loop, suitable to hold the inner loop and the outer loop in an engagement configuration of the cleat assembly. The cam is also suitable to allow rotational movement of the inner, outer loops relative to each other, from the engagement configuration to a disengagement configuration of the cleat assembly.
