A chemical exposure indication device is disclosed. The device is removably attachable to a structure and includes a substrate having a first surface and a second surface and an indicating layer overlying the first substrate surface. The indicating layer includes a coating material that is chemically reactive with a pre-determined chemical compound that is known to degrade the structure. When the coating material is exposed to that corrosive compound in a pre-determined level associated with degradation of a metallic structure, the coating material provides a visual indication of the presence of the corrosive compound.

The present disclosure is directed to a sealed rotary fluid coupling apparatus including a first housing having an inner diameter there-through, a first internal seal interface, a second internal seal interface and a bleed port extending from the inner diameter to an outer surface of the first housing. A second housing includes an inner diameter there-through, a first internal seal interface external to the inner diameter and a second internal seal interface external to the inner diameter. The first housing and the second housing are configured to engage each other such that at least a portion of the second housing inner diameter is disposed within the first housing inner diameter. The sealed rotary fluid coupling apparatus further includes a first and second seals operable to create seals between the first housing first internal seal interface and the second housing first internal seal interface.

A refueling boom is described. The refueling boom includes a non-telescoping portion configured to be coupled to a fuel tanker vehicle and a telescoping portion that is extendable and retractable relative to the non-telescoping portion. The telescoping portion includes a fuel nozzle. The refueling boom also includes a wireless communication system operable to enable wireless communication between a first location of the telescoping portion to a second location of the non-telescoping portion. The refueling boom also includes a control unit coupled to the telescoping portion. The control unit is operable to send first information to the fuel tanker vehicle via the wireless communication system and to receive second information from the fuel tanker vehicle via the wireless communication system.

A method for controlling fluid flow. A valve system may be kept in an open state in response to a fluid being at a selected level of pressure at any of a plurality of ports in a valve. The valve system may be for the valve, and the valve may comprise a housing, the plurality of ports on the housing, and the valve system located inside the housing. The valve system may be configured to be in a closed state when an absence of the selected level of pressure is present at all of the plurality of ports and in the open state when the selected level of pressure is present at any of the plurality of ports. The valve system may be kept in the closed state in response to an absence of the fluid being at the selected level of pressure at all of the plurality of ports.

A device for retaining a bolt including a plate having a bore therethrough for receiving the bolt, a retainer movably mounted on the plate and movable between a first position in engagement with a selected number of facets on the bolt head and a second position out of engagement with the facets, the retainer having a surface portion for receiving a tool at times when the tool is placed on the bolt head for moving the retainer to the second position, and a biasing device for urging the retainer to the first position at times when the tool is removed from the bolt head.
