A mounting platform is provided for securing munitions. The platform includes a flat plate, a front block and a rear block. The plate includes a plurality of cutout holes. The front block has a first saddle disposed between first flanking ends and at least one extension at one of the flanking ends for inserting into a first opening of the cutouts. The rear block has a second saddle disposed between second flanking ends at least one extension for inserting into a second opening of the cutouts. The munitions are disposable atop the first and second saddles of the front and rear blocks. The munitions are restrained axially against a rear stop block and laterally by the saddles and straps.

Modularized platform for munition canister

A mechanism is provided for physically protecting an interface on an electronic device having first and second protrusions, each having a surface. The mechanism includes first and second clamping mechanisms, a hinge assembly and a cover plate. Each clamping mechanism has a pair of blocks that are detachably fastenable together. As assembled along the protrusion surface of the device, the blocks form a channel that rigidly engages that surface. The hinge assembly forms a pivotable joint and can be removably attached to the first clamping mechanism to orient the pivotable joint substantially parallel to the interface. The cover plate can be removably attached to the hinge assembly for disposal to swing on the pivotable joint between closed and open positions. In the closed position, the cover plate securely connects to at least the second clamping mechanism.

Protective cover assembly for electronics

A self-contained fastener is provided for attaching to a structure having opposing edges that flank a cavity across a gap. The fastener includes a grip member, a clamp member and a latch member. The grip member has a knob and an inner annulus disposed thereon along an axis of symmetry. The knob has a central through-hole coaxial with the inner annulus. The inner annulus has an arc tab that radially protrudes therefrom. The clamp member includes a boss and an outer annulus disposed thereon. The boss has first and second dimensions perpendicular to the axis, the first dimension being shorter than the gap. The clamp member is flanked by opposing ledges along the second dimension. Each ledge is arranged to engage a respective edge of the structure. The inner annulus is coaxially insertable into the outer annulus. The latch member includes a stud and a flange. The stud is insertable at a proximal end into the inner annulus and the through-hole. The flange is disposed at a distal end of the stud and has a third dimension shorter than the gap. The flange and the block can be inserted into the cavity along the respective third and first dimensions through the gap. In response to clockwise turning, the knob rotates the tab within the angular notch until inhibited by the outer annulus, whereby the proximal end of the stud retracts into the through-hole, thereby engaging the fastener to the structure.
