Aspects of the disclosure relate to cash handling devices that provide intelligent monitoring and management of cash cycles. A cash handling device having at least one processor, a communication interface, and memory may receive, from a mobile device, a request to process a pre-staged transaction. Subsequently, the cash handling device may generate and present a graphical identifier based on the mobile device requesting access to the cash handling device. Next, the cash handling device may verify that the mobile device is authorized to perform the pre-staged transaction based on the graphical identifier being scanned by the mobile device and cause a connection to be established between the cash handling device and the mobile device. Thereafter, the cash handling device may identify and process the pre-staged transaction associated with the mobile device. Then, the cash handling device may generate a notification indicating completed processing of the identified pre-staged transaction.

Intelligent cash handling

Enhanced authentication at resource event apparatuses of a card device and, in some instances, the user of the card device. Card device-specific Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) are generated and, in some instance, user credential-specific NFTs are generated. The NFTs are stored within a distributed ledger of a distributed trust computing network, which provides verification as the uniqueness and authenticity of the NFTs. Once a resource event is initiated at a resource event apparatus, card device-related information and, in some instance, user credential-related information is received, and the information is compared to the corresponding NFT as a means of authenticating the card device and, in some instances, the card device and the linked user of the card device. As a result, the use of imitation card devices is prevented and, in some instances, the identity of the user of the card device is authenticated and deemed to be linked to the card device.

Aspects of the disclosure relate to monitoring an automatic teller machine (ATM) network and determining anomalous fault behavior in the ATM network. A system may determine historical fault volumes in the ATM network and generate a time-series model of the fault volumes. The system may predict future fault volumes based on the generated time-series model. Based on the predicted future fault volumes and actual future fault volumes, the system may determine anomalous fault behavior and perform a remedial action associated with the ATM fault code determined from anomalous observed fault volumes.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a system for facilitating a secure way to allow primary users and secondary users to perform interactions remotely via an automated machine and one or more auxiliary devices on the same local network. In particular, the system may assign exclusive control over an automated device and one or more auxiliary devices to a primary user via a computing device connected to the same local network or virtual private network as the automated machine, and may allow the primary user to communicate via the automated machine with a secondary user who wishes to complete one or more resource interactions.

Aspects of the disclosure relate to monitoring an automatic teller machine (ATM) network and determining anomalous fault behavior in the ATM network. A computing device may determine historical fault volumes in the ATM network and generate a time-series model of the fault volumes. The computing platform may predict future fault volumes based on the generated time-series model. Based on the predicted future fault volumes and actual future fault volumes, the computing platform may determine anomalous fault behavior. The time-series model may be based on exogenous factors associated with ATM network operations.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a system for transforming entity device to a multi-functional device via a remote communication link. In particular, the system may be configured to receive an interaction request from an associate, via an associate device, wherein the interaction request is associated with a user, authenticate the associate using the associate device, in response to authenticating the associate, establish a remote communication link between the associate device and an entity device, receive an activation request from the associate to activate the entity device, via the associate device and the remote communication link, and in response to receiving the activation request, activate the entity device and transform the entity device to a multi-functional device.

The maintenance management apparatus is configured for scheduling the maintenance appointment for the automated machine, in response to scheduling the maintenance appointment and creating and communicating a maintenance security code to the automated machine. The automated machine is configured for receiving a request from a maintenance provider to initiate the maintenance appointment, validating the maintenance provider using the maintenance security code and providing access to a secure item storage unit, determining that the maintenance provider has completed the maintenance appointment, and communicating information associated with the maintenance appointment to the maintenance management apparatus and/or a computing device of the maintenance provider.
