A battery pack for a vehicle includes: a battery module including a plurality of secondary battery cells; a carrier plate including an integral cooling channel structure having an opening at a side wall of the carrier plate; a liquid cooling circuit in thermal contact with the battery module; and a coupling member. The battery module is on the carrier plate. The integral cooling channel structure is part of the liquid cooling circuit, and the liquid cooling circuit includes a coolant distributor that is in a fluid-tight connection with the integral cooling channel structure at the opening at the side wall. The coupling member and the side wall of the carrier plate respectively include corresponding coupling elements to mechanically connect the coupling member and the carrier plate to each other, and the coupling member further includes a mounting bracket attaching the coolant distributor to the coupling member.

A battery pack for a vehicle is provided. The battery pack comprises: at least one battery module including a plurality of secondary battery cells, a metal framework for supporting the at least one battery module, the framework including a plurality of slots extending from a bottom side to an opposing mounting side of the battery pack, and an insert tightly positioned within each slot, the insert being made of a similar material as the framework and including a through-hole adapted for accommodating a fixation element.

The present invention refers to a fluid connector for a battery pack of a vehicle, and to a battery pack for a vehicle. The fluid connector, with a main conduit and at least one connection conduit that protrudes from a first side of the main conduit, wherein a fluid flow path extends from the main conduit to and through the connection conduit, and wherein the fluid connector comprises a fastener with at least one latch device for fastening the fluid connector to the battery pack, the fastener being arranged at a second side of the main conduit, the second side being arranged opposite to the first side.

A battery pack for a vehicle is provided. The battery pack includes: a plurality of battery modules and a liquid cooling circuit. At least one of the battery modules is arranged in two different levels from among a plurality of levels of the battery pack, the levels of the battery pack being adjacent each other in a vertical direction. The liquid cooling circuit is in thermal contact with the battery modules in the two different levels of the battery pack, and the liquid cooling circuit includes a bypass tube having an inlet opening at a highest point of the liquid cooling circuit in the vertical direction and an outlet opening within the liquid cooling circuit at a lower point of the liquid cooling circuit than the highest point of the liquid cooling circuit.

The present invention refers to a coolant distributor for a battery module housing with a hollow profile enclosing a coolant channel and a plurality of coolant junctions, each extending through a first portion of the hollow profile and providing a fluid connection between the coolant channel and a coolant port. The invention further relates to a battery module housing with a bottom plate comprising a plurality of embedded coolant ducts and a coolant distributor according to the invention that is welded to the bottom plate, such that each of the plurality of coolant ports is aligned with one of a plurality of inlet openings of the coolant ducts. The present invention further relates to a battery system housing, comprising a plurality of battery module housings according to the invention and a plurality of pipe couplings for interconnecting adjacent battery module housings, and to the pipe coupling.
