A method of providing restricted access to computer application information via a computing device includes: displaying a limited-access icon on a display of the computing device, the limited-access icon including a function indicator and code-entry segments that can be selected by a user of the computing device, each of the code-entry segments including a visual indicator; receiving a selection sequence of user selections of selected ones of the code-entry segments; and performing a limited-access function corresponding to the function indicator in response to the selection sequence corresponding to an authorized sequence.

An odor-containment system for use with a flexible bag and a receptacle for holding waste items includes a body configured to be connected to the receptacle for holding waste items, the body providing a passageway through the body, and a plurality of sealing members attached, directly or indirectly, to the body and disposed across the passageway, the sealing members being disposed adjacent to each other in a static, closed position of the system such that a flexible bag inserted between the sealing members will be forced closed, where the body is configured to cover an opening of the receptacle for receiving the waste items, where the sealing members are attached to the body such that the sealing members can separate from each other to permit one of the waste items to be inserted between the sealing members, and where the sealing members are biased toward the static, closed position with the sealing members adjacent to each other such that when a waste moves out from between the sealing members, the sealing members will return to their static positions adjacent to each other.

Odor containment

An improved seat pad and integrated gripping member is provided, which prevents the pad from slipping when placed between a seating surface and individual. The gripping member is permanently attached to the seat pad along its edge and covers a portion of either side of the seating surface. The gripping member is reversible therefore either side of the seat pad may be selectively exposed during use. This allows both seat pad sides to be constructed of different materials, colors, or patterns and be interchangeable when desired by the user.

A sun shade for use with and mounting to a side or rear automobile window includes a material comfigured to inhibit sunlight from passing through the material while allowing sufficient light to pass through the material such that a person can see through the material, and a temperature indicator coupled to the material and configured to provide a visible indication of temperature, where the sun shade is configured to attach to the side or rear automobile window.

An article adapted to be releasably attached to a bed railing, the article having a housing defining an opening for slidingly receiving a portion of the railing, when the housing is mounted on the railing. The article also has a first pawl movably connected to the housing and arranged to be moved from a retaining position, in which the pawl is adapted to block the opening to prevent removal of the railing from the opening, to a release position to enable removal of the article from the railing member. Further, the article has a spring connected to the housing and bearing against the pawl to bias the pawl towards its retaining position with respect to the housing.

A temperature indicator for a clothes iron includes a heat-sensitive element configured to be coupled to a clothes iron and configured to be disposed to receive heat from a heating surface of the clothes iron, and a visual indicator coupled to the heat-sensitive element and configured to provide a visual indication of heat received by the heat-sensitive element.

A bird feeder is configured to hold bird feed and to provide access to the bird feed by birds, the bird feeder including a housing, and a perch coupled to the housing and configured to have at least a landing portion of the perch move from a feeding position toward a feed-inhibiting position, different from the feeding position, relative to the housing, the perch being configured to have the landing portion provide support for a bird eating the bird feed while the perch is in the feeding position, the perch being further configured to be in the feeding position in the absence of an animal's weight being applied to the landing portion of the perch, and to have at least the landing portion move toward the feed-inhibiting position in response to application to the landing portion of at least a weight associated with an adult squirrel, wherein the perch is configured such that the landing portion of the perch will inhibit a squirrel from using the landing portion for support while in the feed-inhibiting position.
