A connection assembly includes a first attachment strap, a first mating assembly, a second attachment strap, a second mating assembly, and a tool key, which connection assembly is used to releasable couple a first article to a second article. The first attachment strap is inserted through a loop in the first article then folded around the loop. The first mating assembly is positioned on opposing ends of the first attachment strap. The second attachment strap is inserted through a loop in the second article and then folded around the loop. The second mating assembly is positioned on opposing ends of the second attachment strap. The tool key is used to rotate a rotatable portion of each of the first mating assembly and the second mating assembly to secure them in place on their respective attachment straps. The first and second mating assemblies are then releasably coupled together.

Connection assembly for releasably coupling a first article to a second article and method therefor

A harness rope assembly includes a first rope consisting of a loop, a second rope, a bridge rope, and a third rope. The second rope includes a closed loop, a first free tether, and a second free tether. Each of the first and second free tethers has a free end and an attached end. The attached ends are attached to one another and the closed loop to together form a central splice. The free ends are inserted through the loop and spliced into an interior of the second rope on either side of the central splice to form a first closed attachment loop and a second closed attachment loop both interlocked with the loop. The bridge rope includes an end loop. The third rope is spliced together in a similar manner as the second rope and interlocked with the end loop.

A connection assembly for releasably coupling a first article to a second article includes a first attachment including first strap, first panel attached to the first strap and releasably extendable through a slot on the first article, first mating member and first loop attached to the first strap, the first panel extendable through the first loop to retain the first panel and the first mating member in a static position on the first article, and a second attachment including second strap, second panel attached to the second strap and releasably extendable through a slot on the second article, second mating member removably coupled to the first mating member, the second mating member and second loop attached to the second strap, the second panel extendable through the second loop to retain the second panel and the second mating member in a static position on the second article.

Connection assembly for releasably coupling a first article to a second article

A safety harness assembly to improve the comfort of the user of a saddle which supports a person who is positioned in a tree. The saddle comprises a primary support, which comprises upper and lower straps secured together to form a closed loop. A panel is attached to and extends between the upper and lower straps. The closed loop includes a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge to which is secured a bridge line that in turn can be secured to a tree. A cross strap is attached to and extends between the upper and lower straps. The cross strap retains the primary support in a stowed configuration and is reversibly stretchable to position the primary support in a deployed configuration when the primary support forms a cradle for the buttocks. A secondary support retains the primary support upon the user.

Safety harness assembly

A bridge rope assembly includes a main body comprising a rope that has a first end and a second end. The rope has a splice therein to form an eye loop in the main body. The eye loop is configured to engage a first bridge loop of a harness. The main body comprises a first portion including the first end and a second portion including the second end. The first portion extends through the second portion of the main body such that the first end is positioned adjacent to the second end. A distance between the first and second ends is less than 2.0 inches.

Bridge rope assembly

A harness with continuous lineman's loop includes a saddle having an upper strap and a lower strap. The saddle has a front side, a back side, a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge wherein the first and second lateral edges are used to engage a bridge line such that the bridge line can be secured to a tree. A pair of lineman's loops is attached to the saddle and used to engage a lineman's rope. Each of the lineman's loops is positioned adjacent to one of the first and second lateral edges. The lineman's loops are comprised of a continuous loop of webbing including an upper portion is attached to the upper strap and a lower portion is attached to the lower strap. The lineman's loops are formed of lateral portions of the continuous loop extending between the upper and lower portions.

Harness with continuous linemans loop

A support harness with shock reducing elements includes a saddle with a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge. A pair of bridge connectors is attached to and extends outwardly from the saddle. The first and second lateral edges each has one of the bridge connectors positioned adjacent thereto. The bridge connectors each include a first strap section secured to the saddle adjacent to an upper edge thereof, a second strap section secured to the saddle adjacent to a lower edge thereof, and a central strap section extending between the first and second strap sections. The first strap section includes a plurality folds therein. A break-away fastener extends through the folds and breaks to release the plurality of folds when a predetermined amount of force is placed on the first strap.

Support harness with shock reducing elements

A safety harness bridge rope engagement system includes a harness and a pair of bridge connectors attached to the harness. The bridge connectors are configured to engage a bridge rope. Each of the bridge connectors has a plurality of channels therein. One of the channels is selected to receive a bridge rope to retain the bridge rope at the selected location to adjust the point of pressure between the harness and user of the harness.

A tree stand assembly includes a platform that has a front edge for engaging a tree. A post is attached to the platform adjacent to the front edge and extends upwardly therefrom. A bracket is attached to a front side of the post and has a top side, a bottom side and a perimeter surface extending between the top and bottom sides. The perimeter surface includes a front surface, a rear surface, a first lateral surface and a second lateral surface. The front surface has a plurality of teeth therein extending forward of the bracket to engage a tree. The rear surface includes a central section and a pair of outer sections positioned on opposite sides of the central section. The outer sections extend away from the front surface and the central section toward an associated one of the first and second lateral surfaces.

Tree stand assembly

A contoured saddle assembly includes a saddle with a closed loop formed by an upper strap, a lower strap, a first lateral strap and a second lateral strap. Each of the upper and lower straps has a forward edge lying in a forward plane and rearward edge lying in a rearward plane. A panel comprising a flexible material is attached to and extends from the first lateral strap to the second lateral strap. A receiving section of the panel traverses a space between the upper and lower straps. The receiving section has a concavely shaped interior surface facing the forward plane. A belt strap is attached to the saddle adjacent to the upper strap and a pair of leg straps each has an attached end attached to the saddle.

Contoured saddle assembly

A tree mountable gear holding assembly includes a strap that is elongated and has a first end, a second end, a first side and a second side. A plurality of article loops is positioned on the first side and each is engageable with articles to be suspended on the strap. The article loops form a continuous line of loops covering at least 75% of the first side. A slide buckle is mounted on the strap adjacent to the second end. A hook is attached to the slide buckle. The hook is removably extendable through one of the article loops to form closed loop with the elongated strap. The slide buckle is movable toward the terminal loop on the strap to shorten a circumference of the closed loop. A free section of strap is defined from the first end to the article loop engaged with the hook.
