This disclosure is directed to techniques for aggregating marine weather radar data and sea state sensor data from ships or other sea-based data collecting nodes, potentially also with non-sea-based data collecting nodes. In one example, a system is configured to receive, via a remote coverage broadband datalink system, one or more sets of marine environmental condition data from one or more sea-based data collecting nodes. The system is further configured to aggregate the one or more sets of marine environmental condition data from the one or more sea-based data collecting nodes into one or more aggregated sets of marine environmental condition data. The system is further configured to output at least one of the aggregated sets of marine environmental condition data to one or more recipient systems.

Marine weather radar and sea state data aggregating system

In some examples, a system is configured to receive composite air traffic radio surveillance data from one or more relaying aircraft, the composite air traffic radio surveillance data comprising air traffic radio surveillance data from the one or more relaying aircraft and air traffic radio surveillance data relayed by the one or more relaying aircraft from one or more additional aircraft. The system is further configured to receive data from one or more non-aircraft data sources, and aggregate and de-conflict the composite air traffic radio surveillance data and the data from the one or more non-aircraft data sources, thereby generating an aggregated and de-conflicted data set. The system is further configured to generate an output based at least in part on the aggregated and de-conflicted data set.

Air traffic and weather data aggregating and de-conflicting

A collaborative aviation information collection and distribution system includes a plurality of aircraft data transmitters and an aircraft data processing system. Each aircraft data transmitter is configured to selectively transmit aircraft data associated with a subscribing aircraft. The aircraft data processing system is in operable communication with each of the aircraft data transmitters and includes a data receiver, a data transmitter, and a data processor. The data receiver receives aircraft data transmitted from each of the aircraft transmitters. The data transmitter selectively transmits actionable aircraft data to one or more of the subscribing aircraft or subscribing ground-based users. The data processor determines which of, and when, the one or more subscribing aircraft or subscribing ground-based users should receive actionable aircraft data, generates actionable aircraft data from at least a portion of the received aircraft data, and supplies the generated actionable aircraft data to the data transmitter for transmission.

Collaborative aviation information collection and distribution system

In some examples, a first entity is configured to request weather data for a region of interest from a second entity. The second entity may transmit the requested weather data to the first entity in response to receiving the request. In some examples, the second entity only transmits the weather data to the first entity only in response to receiving a specific request for the weather data. Conversely, the first entity may only receive the weather data from the second entity in response to transmitting a request for the weather data.

Weather data dissemination

Systems and techniques are described for generating cost values for a plurality of braking events of an aircraft, where each cost value is based on an expected wear of the wheel-and-brake assembly of the aircraft during the respective braking event. The systems and techniques may take into account data representative of conditions during the respective braking event of the aircraft to generate the cost values.
