Air freshener products and methods for freshening air are disclosed. In some embodiments, the air freshening product may include a container for storing an air freshening composition that may contain compressed gas such as compressed air, nitrogen, nitrous oxide, inert gases, or carbon dioxide. When the container is completely filled with propellant and air freshening composition, the air freshening composition may be released from the container at a flow rate of from about 0.8 grams/second to about 1.5 grams/second, wherein the mean particle size of the released spray droplets is from about 10 microns to about 100 microns. The method of freshening air, in certain embodiments, provides improved delivery of an air freshening composition using a non-hydrocarbon propellant. If malodor counteractants are used, the method may also provide a reduction in malodors.

Air freshener products and methods for freshening air are disclosed. Automatic dishwashing detergent compositions comprising bleaching agent or enzyme, and blooming perfume composition containing blooming perfume ingredients having a boiling point of less than about 260&#xb0; C. and a ClogP of at least about 3, and wherein said perfume composition comprises at least 5 different blooming perfume ingredients, and base masking perfume ingredients having a boiling point of more than about 260&#xb0; and a ClogP of at least about 3. Preferred compositions comprise amylase and/or protease enzymes.

Automatic dishwashing compositions comprising blooming perfume and base masking ingredients

Disclosed are detergent compositions, particularly for manual dishwashing which, by incorporating a combination of anionic surfactants, solvents and certain selected perfume compositions that do not have the maladors associated with certain nitrogenous ingredients such as amines. Also disclosed are the perfume compositions themselves, characterised by 30% to 100% of an odor neutralizer capable of forming a Schiff base when reacted with an amine, said compositions having a pH of from 8.5 to 12.

Perfume compositions and methods to mask amine malodors

A hard surface cleaning composition for removing cooked-, baked- or burnt-on soils from cookware and tableware, the composition comprising an organoamine solvent and wherein the composition has a liquid surface tension of less than about 24.5 mN/m and a pH, as measured in a 10% solution in distilled water, or least than 10.5. The composition can be used as pre-treatment prior to the dishwashing process. The composition provides excellent removal of polymerized grease from metal and glass substrates.

Cleaning composition

A dispensing device for dispensing scents into the environment is disclosed. In one embodiment, the dispensing device is used in conjunction with an article of manufacture which contains one or more scents or aromatic materials. In such an embodiment, the dispensing device can include a housing and a removable, reusable/replayable, closed, multiple scent-containing article of manufacture which is removably inserted into or onto said housing.

Disclosed are personal care compositions comprising (a) from about 0.1% to about 99.85% by weight of a malodor-producing liquid carrier, malodor-producing polymer, or combination thereof, and (b) from about 0.005% to about 2.5% by weight of an odor masking base. The base comprises from about 15% to about 75% by weight of the base of an ionone perfume having a boiling point of more than about 250.degree. C., from about 5% to about 65% by weight of the base of a musk having a boiling point of more than about 250.degree. C., and from about 20% to about 80% by weight of the base of a highly volatile perfume having a boiling point of less than about 250.degree. C. The odor masking base of the composition helps to mask the malodor of the malodor-producing polymer and/or malodor-producing liquid carrier.

Personal care compositions containing an odor masking base

Disclosed are styling shampoo compositions comprising (a) from about 5% to about 50% by weight of a surfactant component having an anionic moiety at the pH of the composition; (b) from about 0.025% to about 3% by weight of a cationic deposition polymer; (c) from about 0.1% to about 10% by weight of a malodor-producing hair styling polymer; (d) from about 0.0075% to about 2.5% by weight of an odor masking base; and (e) from about 25% to about 94.5% by weight water. The odor masking base comprises (by weight of the base) from about 15% to about 75% by weight of an ionone perfume having a boiling point of more than about 250.degree. C., from about 5% to about 65% by weight of a musk having a boiling point of more than about 250.degree. C., and from about 20% to about 80% by weight of a highly volatile perfume having a boiling point of less than about 250.degree. C. The present invention is also directed to styling shampoo compositions which may further comprise a malodor-producing liquid carrier to solubilize or disperse the malodor-producing polymer in the composition. The odor masking base of the composition helps to mask the malodor of the malodor-producing polymer and/or malodor-producing liquid carrier.
