A transistor package for a power amplifier is provided. The transistor package includes a plurality of radio frequency, RF, paths that includes a first RF path and second RF path. Each RF path includes a transistor-carrying die and at least one impedance element. The transistor package includes a circuit portion electrically coupling a first impedance element in the first RF path to a second impedance element in the second RF path where the circuit portion includes at least one resistor.

Impedance element with built-in odd-mode oscillation suppression

A power amplifier circuit includes a main amplifier circuit having a main amplifier for amplifying an input signal in one of a full-power mode and at least a back-off mode. A first peak amplifier circuit is in parallel with the main amplifier circuit. The first peak amplifier circuit has a peak amplifier in series with a transmission line. The peak amplifier is configured to be activated in the full-power mode and to be de-activated in at least the back-off mode. A combining node is connected to an output of the main amplifier circuit and an output of the transmission line. In some embodiments, a matching network is connected at the output of the combining node. In some embodiments, the transmission line is selected so the first peak amplifier circuit appears substantially as an open circuit to the combining node.

Broadband Doherty power amplifier

Provided are an apparatus, system, and method for facilitating wireless communication between a hub and a mobile terminal via a remote radio module. The remote radio module includes a first transceiver operable to wirelessly communicate with the mobile terminal, a second transceiver operable to wirelessly communicate with the hub that is coupled to a core network, and a processor for executing instructions stored in memory. The instructions include instructions for receiving a signal from the hub at a first carrier frequency and processing the signal so that the signal can be retransmitted to the mobile terminal at a second carrier frequency different from the first carrier frequency.

Apparatus, system, and method for a remote radio module with relay capability

In accordance with an embodiment, a method of amplifying a plurality of frequency bands includes amplifying a first frequency band and a second frequency band with a main amplifier, amplifying the first frequency band with a first peaking amplifier, amplifying the second frequency band with a second peaking amplifier, and simultaneously load modulating an output of the main amplifier with an output of the first peaking amplifier and with an output of the second peaking amplifier.
