Certain embodiments of the invention relate to a method of manufacturing a dental bridge. In certain embodiments of the method, a pre-sintered blank made from a green body of ceramic material is subjected to a machining operation that transforms the blank into an intermediate product with a bridge structure and a support body linked to the bridge structure by one or several retaining sections that extend from the support body to the bridge structure. In certain embodiments, a sintering operation is then performed on the intermediate product while the retaining section(s) still link(s) the support body to the bridge structure.

Method and arrangement for forming a dental bridge

Methods of producing a dental product are disclosed. Certain methods include the steps of providing a pre-sintered blank made from a green body of ceramic material, performing a machining operation on the blank, and subsequently sintering the blank to its final density in a sintering operation performed at a temperature in the range of 1300&#xb0; C. to 1650&#xb0; C. The pre-sintered blank that is provided may have a strength in the range of 53-107 MPa.

Method of producing a dental product

An arrangement for producing a blank made of metal powder, preferably titanium powder, intended for a dental crown or other product for the human body (spacer, dentine, implant, etc.) comprises at least one first apparatus for powder compression and at least one second apparatus with one or more elastic molds having at least one cavity for a punch (block) and the powder used in the initial stage. The first apparatus comprises a machine operating by impact compaction, and said mold or molds is/are arranged, when the cavity is filled with starting powder, to receive impacts effected by the impaction members in the machine and, as a function of the impact or impacts, to generate an isostatic action during the compression/compaction. The invention also relates to a device, method and use and permits a rapid production procedure while maintaining the current requirements in respect of precision and quality.

Arrangement, device, method, product and use in connection with a blank made preferably of titanium powder and intended for a dental crown or other product for the human body

A system useful in producing a three-dimensional body comprising bone or tissue-compatible material includes a detection and analysis site which identifies and simulates a portion of a body in connection with an implantation situation. A production device produces a model responsive to the simulation information. A flame-spraying apparatus provides the bone-compatible and/or tissue-compatible material in a powder form through a nozzle. Relative movement between the nozzle and a support member supporting the model or die is controlled to apply one or more layers of the bone-compatible material to the model. A method includes using a computer to identify and simulate a body in connection with a given implantation situation, and producing a model or die accordingly. the bone or tissue-compatible material is flame-sprayed in a powder form. Movements of a nozzle and/or a supporting member are controlled so as to effect a desired surface characteristic on the three-dimensional body.
