A mixed metal oxide catalyst for selective hydrogenation of dienes comprising a Group VIII metal, a trivalent metal, a Group IA metal, a Group IVB metal, a Group IIB metal, two Group VIB metals and SiO&#x2014;AlOas balance. The catalyst comprises 10-40 wt % of Group VIII metal, 5-30 wt % of trivalent metal, 0.1-8 wt % of Group IA metal, 0.1-8 wt % of Group IVB metal, 0.1-30 wt % of Group IIB metal, 5-50 wt % of two Group VIB metals and 10-30 wt % of SiO&#x2014;AlO, based on the catalyst in terms of oxide, and has 150-300 m/g of specific surface area, 0.4-0.8 ml/g of pore volume.

Catalyst for selective hydrogenation of dienes, preparation method and application thereof

The invention discloses a multi-metallic bulk catalyst with layered structure, wherein the metals in the multi-metallic bulk catalyst is consisted of a Group VIII metal M, at least one metal Mwith the valence of +3 and at least two Group VIB metals M+M, wherein (the mole number of M+the mole number of M):(the mole number of M+the mole number of M) is from 1:9 to 9:1; the mole number of M:the mole number of Mis from 1:5 to 5:1; and the mole number of M:the mole number of Mis from 1:5 to 5:1. The invention also discloses the preparation method and use of the above catalyst. The invention is use for the hydrodesulfurization of diesel distillate including 4,6-dimethyldibenzothiophene, wherein the catalyst exhibits a extreme high hydrodesulfurization activity. Thus, the ultra-deep hydrodesulfurization is achieved and the cost of the bulk catalyst is reduced.

A platinum/carbon nanotube catalyst applicable to heterogeneous asymmetric hydrogenation, which is fabricated by supporting platinum on carbon nanotube carriers, and prepared by the steps of: heating purified carbon nanotubes in nitric acid, filtering and washing the same with water until pH value of the filtrate becomes neutral, drying the carbon nanotubes; immersing the carbon nanotube carriers obtained in an aqueous chloroplatinic acid solution and carrying out ultrasonic treatment at room temperature; immersing the mixture of the carbon nanotubes and the aqueous chloroplatinic acid solution under stirring; drying the material by heating to 110&#xb0; C. from room temperature and maintaining this temperature; grinding the product to fine powders, reducing the fine powders with an aqueous sodium formate solution under a heating condition, filtering and washing the product with deionized water, and drying the product.

This invention relates to a visible-light-responsive photocatalyst for photocatalyticly oxidation desulphurization and method for preparation and application thereof. The catalyst is comprised of one type of metal M, one type of metal oxide MOand BiVOas the supporter, wherein the mass ratio of the sum of the two types of metal (M+M) to BiVOis from 1:5000 to 1:50; the mass ratio of the type of metal Mto the type of metal Mis from 1:50 to 50:1. The catalyst is used in the photocatalytic oxidation desulphurization. Under mild condition (room temperature, 1 atm), using Oas the oxidant and xenon lamp (wavelength 420 nm&#x3c;&#x3bb;&#x3c;700 nm) as the light source, avoid the oil's absorption of light (mainly in the violet area which is below 420 nm), the desulphurization ratio of thiophene can be above 90%, meanwhile the oil won't be excited. The sulfur in thiophene can be oxidized to SOand absorbed by the absorbent after escaped from the reaction system. Thus extraction of the conventional oxidative desulphurization can be saved to lower the operation cost. The visible-light-responsive photocatalyst can be widely used in oil compared with the UV-light-responsive photocatalyst. We can recover the photocatalyst after the reaction by subsiding or centrifugation.

A method of the desulfurization and deodorization of gasoline by using the catalyst comprises the steps of: mixing the catalyst and an aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide, and then adding the gasoline to react them with stirring under conditions of 25 to 90&#xb0; C. and 0.1 to 1 MPa for 10 to 180 min. An odorless gasoline can be obtained through settlement or centrifugation, and the catalyst is recovered.

Catalyst for desulfurization and deodorization of gasoline and method for preparation of the same and use thereof

A catalyst for ultra-deep desulfurization of diesel via oxidative distillation is an amphiphilic oxidative catalyst, which is expressed as Q[XMO], wherein 1&#x2266;m&#x2266;12; 9&#x2266;n&#x2266;18; 34&#x2266;q&#x2266;62; Q is a quaternary ammonium cation; X is P, Si, As or B; and M is Mo) or W. A desulfurization method comprises a) mixing well a diesel, the amphiphilic catalyst, and hydrogen peroxide, reacting for 10-300 minutes at ambient temperature and normal pressure, transforming the sulfur-containing compounds in the diesel into sulfone to obtain an oxidized diesel; b) distilling the oxidized diesel obtained in step a) under reduced pressure to obtain the ultra-low sulfur diesel having a sulfur content of less than 10 ppm; and c) separating and recovering the catalyst and sulfone.

A complex metal oxide catalyst comprising a Group VIII metal Mand at least two Group VIB metals Mand M, wherein the molar ratio of Group VIII metal Mto Group VIB metals M+Mis 1:9-9:1 and the molar ratio of the Group VIB metals Mand Mis 1:5 to 5:1. When applied to the hydrodesulfurization of diesel, the catalyst exhibits a super high HDS activity. The sulfur level in the diesel can be reduced from 1200 ppm to 27 ppm under a gentle operating condition.
