Screed component

A screw jack assembly includes a first body defining a longitudinal axis and a screw drive disposed within the first body. The screw jack assembly also includes a second body movable relative to the first body and coupled to the screw drive, and a first gear coupled to the screw drive. The screw jack assembly further includes a handle assembly having a tube member coupled to the first body. The handle assembly also includes a second gear coupled to the first gear. The handle assembly further includes a handle member coupled to the second gear and adapted to rotate about a rotational axis substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The handle member is adapted to selectively rotate between an operating position and a stowed position about the longitudinal axis based, at least in part, on rotation of the tube member relative to the first body along the longitudinal axis.

Screw jack assembly for paving machine

A system for attaching a mounting wall of a screed extension to a screed assembly including a first mounting component configured to be engaged within a first receptacle provided on the mounting wall. The first mounting component includes a first fastening member. The system further includes a second mounting component configured to be received within a second receptacle provided on the mounting wall. The second mounting component includes a second fastening member to engage with the first mounting member on the mounting wall and a mounting catch to engage with a mating wall of the screed assembly.

Screed extension attachment system

A screed assembly associated with a machine includes a screed disposed at a rear end of the machine and at least one control panel assembly coupled to the screed. The at least one control panel assembly includes a control panel including a recess and a support structure adapted to be removably coupled with the control panel. The support structure includes a first structure defining a first axis. The first structure is movable along the first axis and rotatable about the first axis. The support structure also includes a second structure movably coupled to the first structure. The second structure defines a second axis substantially parallel to the first axis. The second structure is rotatable about the second axis and includes a locking member adapted to be slidably received within the recess of the control panel for removably coupling the control panel with the support structure.
