An improved selective herbicide, as well of methods of controlling unwanted plants using such a herbicide, are provided. A method for treating undesired vegetation can include providing a selective herbicidal composition that includes a water-soluble selective auxin-type herbicide and a chelating agent complexed with at least one transition metal, and contacting vegetation with a herbicidally effective amount of the composition such that unwanted vegetation is controlled, while desired vegetation is unaffected.

Enhancers for water soluble selective auxin type herbicides

An environmentally safe, pesticidally effective composition is provided to control insect/mite pests. In an exemplary embodiment, a composition is provided that includes a pesticidally effective, yet environmentally safe, concentration of at least one spinosyn with at least one additional contact-acting insecticide and/or miticide and at least one solvent or carrier.

Wide spectrum insecticide and miticide composition

Bait compositions of spinosyns in combination with metal complexones and other mollusicides are provided in an environmentally safe composition that is effective to a treat and/or control a wide spectrum of insect and mollusc pests.

Insecticide and molluscicide composition and methods

An environmentally safe selective herbicide is provided that includes at least one metal component and at least one chelating agent. The metal component can have a variety of forms, but is preferably in the form of a metal salt, a metal chelate, or combinations thereof. The chelating agent can also have a variety of forms, but is preferably in the form of a metal chelate, a salt, an acid, or combinations thereof. Methods of use are also provided.

Composition and method for selective herbicide

An environmentally safe pesticidal liquid suspension composition including a mixture of sulfur combined with pyrethrins and/or pyrethroids is provided. The pesticidal composition is effective to control plant diseases, as well as insect and mite pests. The composition can be prepared as concentrated or ready-to-use formulations. Formulations can be applied to plants, both indoors and outdoors, to control plant disease and insect and mite pests and reduce plant damage from such pests. The formulations can be applied to plants with minimal phytotoxicity (plant damage) and do not leave unacceptable levels of visible sulfur residue.

Pesticidal composition

Compositions and methods for treating undesired weeds are disclosed. The compositions include a carboxylic acid components and maleic hydrazide derivatives, preferably as an ammonium salt.

Herbicidal fatty acid and maleic hydrazide salt compositions

An effective, environmentally compatible herbicidal composition utilizes under saponified ammonium soaps of fatty acids having from 6 to 11 carbon atoms. Potassium and sodium soap compositions, at 90 to 100% saponification, are effective to kill mosses, lichen, liverworts and algae, without damage to higher plants. The compositions are herbicidally effective and do not stain substrates, such as patios, walks, stairs, walls and the like, to which it is applied.
