Detergent composition with a softening and protective action of natural fibres

Aqueous surfactant compositions, with a high viscosity, comprising an anionic surfactant or a mixture of anionic surfactants, an alkyl ester of lactic acid or a mixture of alkyl esters of lactic acid and, optionally, an electrolyte. The above compositions can be used for the preparation of liquid detergents, either transparent or translucent, opaque or pearly, for use as 'personal care' products, domestic detergents, car detergents.

Oil-based gels are described containing tartaric or malic acid diesters possibly mixed with oils, and other components such as silica and polyalcohols. The gels are characterized by a wide viscosity range and can find application in the preparation of formulations for cosmetics and pharmaceutical use.

A hybrid fuel composition in the form of a stable water-in-oil microemulsion comprises a liquid hydrocarbon fuel, water, a glycolipid surfactant and a vicinal aliphatic diol co-surfactant. The hydrocarbon fuel can be a liquid fuel for autotraction such as gasoline or diesel fuel, or a liquid hydrocarbon fuel for domestic or industrial heating, such as gas oil, naphtha, kerosene and fuel oils in general.

Hybrid liquid fuel composition in aqueous microemulsion form

A process for separating and recovering paraffin sulphonic acids from mixtures with water and sulphuric acid is described, consisting of: bringing such a mixture into contact under extraction conditions with a saturated aliphatic or cycloaliphatic liquid hydrocarbon; separating an aqueous liquid phase containing sulphuric acid from an organic liquid phase consisting of the extraction solvent containing the paraffin sulphonic acids; and recovering the paraffin sulphonic acids from said organic liquid phase. The process is particularly applicable to products obtained from processes involving the sulphoxidation of paraffins with sulphur dioxide and oxygen, catalyzed by U.V. radiation.
