A battery powered welding system is provided. In one welding system a battery powered welder includes control circuitry configured to control a welding power output converted from power from an external battery power source. The battery powered welder also includes a wire drive assembly coupled to the control circuitry and configured to feed a welding wire using power from the external battery power source. The battery powered welder includes a case integrally supporting and enclosing the control circuitry and the wire drive assembly. The case is not configured to enclose the external battery power source.

A metal fabrication resource performance monitoring method includes collecting data representative of a parameter sampled during one or more metal fabrication operations of one or more metal fabrication resources, the one or more resources being selectable by a user from a listing of individual and groups of resources, receiving event data comprising a time that an event occurred, via at least one computer processor, determining a first analyzed system parameter from the collected data, via the at least one computer processor, populating a dashboard page with graphical indicia representative of the first analyzed system parameter before and after the event, and transmitting the dashboard page to a user-viewable display.

Via at least one computer processor, the accessed parameter is processed to determine an analyzed system parameter, and a user viewable dashboard page is populated with graphical indicia representative of the analyzed system parameter, and transmitted the user viewable dashboard page to a user.

A method and system for retracting welding wire is provided. One welding torch includes a handle configured to receive welding wire from a wire source and to direct the welding wire to a torch tip. The welding torch also includes a first switch coupled to the handle and configured to cause the welding wire to extend out of the torch tip to expose more wire when the first switch is actuated. The welding torch includes a second switch coupled to the handle and configured to cause the welding wire to retract into the torch tip to expose less wire when the second switch is actuated.

Welding wire retraction system and method

A portable battery powered welder is disclosed that is configured to operate without an external power source. The portable battery powered welder may include a battery coupled to a welding circuit and a wire feeder. Further, the portable battery powered welder may include a suitcase to integrally support and completely enclose the welding circuit, the battery, and the wire feeder. The suitcase may include a lateral access door having a hinge and a latch. Additionally, the wire feeder and a wire spool may be disposed in a region accessible by the lateral access door. The suitcase may also include an access panel disposed over a region containing the battery. The access panel may be mounted to the case via a snap mount and/or secured via fasteners. Finally, the suitcase may include a top handle and may be made of a lightweight, impact resistant, and flame retardant material.

Portable battery powered welder

Overhead truss assemblies for use with retail displays are provided. The assemblies include multiple trusses that are parallel to and spaced from each other, spanning overhead or otherwise elevated and connecting merchandise display racks on opposing sides of an aisle or aligned with and atop a single merchandise display rack. The trusses have horizontal truss segments and define variable mounting widths. The variable mounting widths are established with one or more connector assemblies that cooperate with and move longitudinally along the horizontal truss segments. Each connector assembly includes a captured plate that is slidingly housed inside of the horizontal truss segment, and an insert connected to and moving in unison with the captured plate. Moving the connector assembly inwardly toward a middle portion of the truss defines a relatively narrower mounting width, while moving the connector assembly outwardly toward an end of the truss defines a relatively wider mounting width.
