The present disclosure generally relates to user interfaces for enabling an activity using a computer system. In some embodiments, exemplary user interfaces for invoking an activity associated with an application are described. In some embodiments, exemplary user interfaces for customizing displayed content based on circumstances under which the content was invoked are described. In some embodiments, exemplary user interfaces for managing applications that were used to enable activities are described. In some embodiments, exemplary user interfaces for managing settings for applications used to enable activities are described.

User interfaces for enabling an activity

An electronic device concurrently displays a first user interface of first software and status information for an application that is different from the first software. The status information includes content of the application. As a state of the application changes, the device updates the content of the application displayed in the status information. In response to detecting an input corresponding to a request to display a different, second user interface of different, second software, while concurrently displaying the first user interface and a respective user interface object that includes the status information, the device ceases to display the first user interface and the respective user interface object, and displays the second user interface including content of the application, including, as the state of the application changes, updating the content of the application displayed in the second user interface, which includes information that is different from the status information.

Devices, methods, and graphical user interfaces for accessing notifications

While a first notification mode is active for the computer system and while the computer system is in a low power state, a computer system detects a first request to wake the computer system. In response, the computer system displays a first wake screen user interface with a first background image. While displaying the first wake screen user interface, the computer system detects a request to switch from the first notification mode to a second notification mode. In response, the computer system switches from the first notification mode to the second notification mode at the computer system. While the second notification mode is active for the computer system and while the computer system is in the low power state, the computer systems detects a second request to wake the computer system. In response the computer system displays a second wake screen user interface with a second background image.

Devices, methods, and graphical user interfaces for providing focus modes

At a display of a computer system, a user interface is displayed that includes a placement location configured to spatially accommodate a respective user interface object of a plurality of user interface objects corresponding to different applications. In response to detecting the input that is directed to the placement location and in accordance with a determination that the input meets first criteria, including a duration criterion, one or more selectable options associated with the first user interface object corresponding to the first application are displayed. In response to detecting the input and in accordance with a determination that the input meets second criteria, wherein the second criteria requires that the input includes movement in a first direction, display of the first user interface object is replaced with display of the second user interface object from the plurality of user interface objects associated with the placement location.

Devices, methods, and graphical user interfaces for interacting with user interface objects corresponding to applications

The present disclosure generally relates to techniques for a displaying a user interface including a visual indication that an electronic device is in a protective charging mode. While the electronic device is in a charging configuration with respect to an external power source, an energy-storage component of the electronic device is charged with power supplied by the external power source. After charging the energy-storage component, a user interface is displayed. When charging of the energy-storage component is stopped before reaching a full charge level, the user interface includes a visual indication that the electronic device is in a protective charging mode in which charging of the energy-storage component is delayed based on predetermined criteria.

A computer system detects a first input requesting display of a home screen of the computer system, and in response, in accordance with a determination that a first activity mode is active on the computer system, displays a first home screen associated with the first activity mode, and enables provision of first notifications by the computer system in accordance with settings of the first activity mode; and in accordance with a determination that a second activity mode is active on the computer system, the computer system displays a second home screen associated with the second activity mode, and enables provision of second notifications by the computer system in accordance with settings of the second activity mode. The second home screen is different from the first home screen, and at least some settings of the second activity mode are different from the settings of the first activity mode.

Systems and methods for arranging applications on an electronic device with a touch-sensitive display. An example method includes, at an electronic device with a touch-sensitive display, concurrently displaying a first application window and a second application window. The method includes receiving an input directed to first application window followed by a drag input. The method also includes that in response to detecting the drag input: moving the first application window in accordance with the drag input, and enlarging the second application window to an enlarged size that is larger than a size at which the second application window was displayed prior to detecting the first input.

An electronic device with a display device displays a user interface that includes content. The electronic device, while displaying the user interface that includes content, detects a first input. The electronic device, in response to detecting the first input, displays an annotation layer over the displayed content. At least a portion of the content is visible through the annotation layer. The electronic device, while displaying the annotation layer, displays a set of markup tools, including a plurality of tools for adding marks to the annotation layer. The electronic device detects a second input selecting a first markup tool of the set of markup tools. The electronic device adds one or more marks on the annotation layer in accordance with one or more additional inputs using the selected first markup tool.

Devices, methods, and graphical user interfaces for a unified annotation layer for annotating content displayed on a device

A computer system detects one or more inputs to subscribe to updates from a first application for a first event and to subscribe to updates from a second application for a second event. The system displays a user interface. Displaying the user interface includes: when the first event is active and the second event is not active, displaying a first representation of the first event in a first region of the user interface, and updating first information contained in the first representation of the first event based on updates received from the first application; and when the second event is active and the first event is not active, displaying a second representation of the second event in the first region of the user interface, and updating second information contained in the second representation of the second event based on updates received from the second application.

Devices, methods, and graphical user interfaces for providing notifications and application information

A computer system displays a first version of a first user interface that includes first user interface objects displayed concurrently with a first background. The first user interface objects include content from a first plurality of applications. In response to detecting a first input, when the first input includes movement in a first direction, the system replaces display of the first version of the first user interface with a second user interface that includes representations of a second plurality of applications. When the first input includes second movement in a second direction, the system replaces display of the first version of the first user interface with display of a second version of the first user interface that includes second user interface objects displayed with a second background. The second user interface objects correspond to a third plurality of applications and include content from the third plurality of applications.

An electronic device displays a home screen user interface that includes a plurality of application icons for different applications. While displaying the home screen user interface, the electronic device detects availability of a wireless peripheral for pairing with the electronic device, and in response to detecting the availability of the wireless peripheral for pairing with the electronic device, displays, overlaid on the home screen user interface, a connection user interface that includes information identifying the wireless peripheral. If the first user input meets selection criteria when directed to the first representation of the first user interface object and includes movement that meets first movement criteria, ceasing display of the configuration user interface corresponding to the first placement location and displaying the first user interface object at a second placement location in a second user interface in accordance with movement of the first user input.
