Aqueous inkjet ink compositions are provided. In embodiments, an aqueous inkjet ink composition comprises water, a colorant, resin particles, and optionally, a wax, wherein the resin particles comprise a polymerization product of reactants comprising one or more types of hydrophobic monomers; and one or more types of acidic monomers comprising one or more types of phosphoric acid monomers.

Aqueous inkjet ink compositions with phosphoric acid functional resin particles

Aqueous inkjet ink compositions are provided. In an embodiment, such an aqueous inkjet ink composition comprises water; resin particles; a colorant; and optionally, a wax. The resin particles comprise a polymerization product of reactants comprising a monomer, an acidic monomer, a hydrophilic monomer, a difunctional monomer, and a reactive surfactant. The acidic monomer, the hydrophilic monomer, and the difunctional monomer may be present at an amount in a range of from about 10 weight % to about 30 weight % in the resin particles. Methods of forming and using the aqueous inkjet ink compositions are also provided.

Aqueous inkjet ink compositions made from high viscosity latexes

The present disclosure is directed to a metallic ink composition for use in digital offset printing, comprising: metallic effect pigment particles, wherein an average equivalent sphere diameter of at least about 90% of the metallic effect pigment particles ranges from greater than 1 micrometer (μm) to 150 μm; at least one dispersant; at least one curable oligomer; and a photo initiator, wherein the metallic ink composition has a viscosity ranging from 150,000 to 1,000,000 millipascal seconds (mPa·s) at 0.1 rad/s at 25° C. Also provided is a method of digital offset printing using the metallic ink composition of the present disclosure.

Metallic inks composition for digital offset lithographic printing

An ink composition for use in digital offset printing including at least one component selected from the group consisting of a curable monomer and a curable oligomer; an optional dispersant; an optional photoinitiator; and at least one non-radiation curable additive, wherein the non-radiation curable additive is a detergent or an emulsifying agent, or wherein the non-radiation curable additive functions as a detergent or emulsifying agent when in the presence of a cleaning fluid, and wherein the non-radiation curable additive is a solid at a temperature of from about 20&#xb0; C. to about 40&#xb0; C.

Digital offset lithography ink composition

A support material for use in additive manufacturing includes greater than about 30 weight percent up to about 70 weight percent of a Cto Cfatty alcohol ethoxylate, about 30 weight percent to about 70 weight percent of a Cto Cfatty alcohol, and a tackifier, a transition temperature measured as the temperature immediately before phase change, based on viscosity measurement, is less than about 65&#xb0; C. A system for additive manufacturing includes such a support material and a build material, the ratio of Cto Cfatty alcohol ethoxylate to Cto Cfatty alcohol is selected for property matching of the support material to the build material. A method of additive manufacturing includes providing such a system and printing via an inkjet printer the support material and the build material to provide a precursor to a three-dimensional printed article.

Removable support material comprising tackifier for additive manufacturing

An ink composition including a metal nanoparticle; at least one aromatic hydrocarbon solvent, wherein the at least one aromatic hydrocarbon solvent is compatible with the metal nanoparticles; at least one aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent, wherein the at least one aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent is compatible with the metal nanoparticles; wherein the ink composition has a metal content of greater than about 45 percent by weight, based upon the total weight of the ink composition; wherein the ink composition has a viscosity of from about 5 to about 30 centipoise at a temperature of about 20 to about 30&#xb0; C. Silver nanoparticle ink

The present disclosure is directed to a white ink composition for use in digital offset printing, including a first white colorant including a first plurality of white pigment particles, wherein an average diameter of at least about 40% of the first plurality of white pigment particles is in a range of about 250 nanometers to about 350 nanometers, a second white colorant including a second plurality of white pigment particles, wherein an average diameter of at least about 40% of the second plurality of white pigment particles is in a range of about 350 nanometers to about 550 nanometers, at least one dispersant, at least one component selected from a curable monomer or a curable oligomer, and a photo-initiator. Also provided is a method of digital offset printing using the white ink composition of the present disclosure.

White ink composition for ink-based digital printing

A curable ink including at least one monomer, oligomer, or prepolymer; an optional photoinitiator; an optional colorant; and amide gellant having a molecular weight of from about 800 to about 2,500 g/mole; wherein the ink has an onset of gelation defined by the glass transition of the low molecular weight amide gellant according to the relationship Onset of Gelation (K)=(Constant) Tg of gellant (K); wherein the Constant is less than 1.5. A process for printing a three-dimensional article including providing a curable ink; depositing the curable ink in one or more layers; and curing the deposited ink to form the three-dimensional object.

Ink jet ink compositions for digital manufacturing of transparent objects

A curable ink composition for forming a three-dimensional (3D) object via a digital additive manufacturing system is provided. The composition may comprise greater than about 30 weight % of one or more oligomers, at least two monomers comprising a lowest viscosity monomer and a highest viscosity monomer, one or more photoinitiators, and optionally, one or more additives. The ratio of the weight % of the total amount of oligomers to the weight % of the total amount of monomers may be at least about 0.5 and the ratio of the weight % of the lowest viscosity monomer to the weight % of the highest viscosity monomer may be at least about 5.

Curable ink composition

A metal nanoparticle ink dispersion is made by mixing ingredients comprising: a first solvent being nonpolar and having a boiling point above 160&#xb0; C. at 1 atmosphere pressure; a second solvent having a boiling point above 230&#xb0; C. at 1 atmosphere pressure, the second organic solvent being an aromatic hydrocarbon and having a higher boiling point than the first hydrocarbon solvent; and a plurality of metal nanoparticles. A method of printing the metal nanoparticle ink dispersion is also disclosed.

Metal nanoparticle ink dispersion

The disclosed embodiments are directed to a composition of an inverse emulsion acrylate ink for use in variable data digital lithographic image forming devices and methods for preparing and using the ink. The disclosed inverse emulsion acrylate ink includes an acrylate monomer, oligomer, polymer, or mixtures thereof that is a continuous phase, and water dispersed as an emulsion in the continuous acrylate phase. The disclosed inverse emulsion acrylate ink includes one or more of a color pigment component, a rheology modifying agent, a stabilizing agent, and a photoinitiator component. The water may be supplemented with a surfactant to lower a surface tension of the water.

Inverse emulsion acrylate ink compositions for ink-based digital lithographic printing

Compatible acrylate ink sets include acrylate ink composition having 30% or less by weight pigment, 10% or less dispersant, between 40% and 80% acrylate, 12% or less photoinitiator, a viscosity between 5&#xd7;10and 3&#xd7;10cps at 35&#xb0; C., and a 60 second tack between 25 and 50 g-m at 35&#xb0; C.
