An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a first housing, a second housing foldably connected with the first housing, a flexible display disposed on the first housing and the second housing, at least one sensor, a memory, and at least one processor operatively connected to the flexible display, the at least one sensor, and the memory, wherein the at least one processor is configured, when instructions stored in the memory are executed, to control the flexible display to display a first execution screen of a first application, based on an angle between the first housing and the second housing, which is identified using the sensor, falling within a predetermined range, identify whether the first application supports changing of an execution screen according to a change in angle, control the flexible display to display a second execution screen of the first application associated with the predetermined range.

Electronic device for providing execution screen of application and method for operating the same

An example electronic device may include a housing, a flexible display, wherein at least a portion of the flexible display which is positioned in the housing is configured to be exposed to an outside of the housing as the housing slides, a speaker, and a processor operatively connected with the speaker and the flexible display. The processor may be configured to control the speaker to output a first sound at a first volume value while a state of the housing is a normal state, identify a size of a first area of the flexible display exposed to the outside, based on a first slide of the housing to change the state of the housing to an extended state, and control the speaker to output the first sound at a second volume value higher than the first volume value based on a size of the first area while the state of the housing is the extended state.

Electronic device including flexible display and method for operating the same

An electronic device including a flexible display that is rollable or slidable and a method for operating the electronic device are provided. A first screen of a first function is displayed in a first area of a flexible display exposed to the outside. When a rolling movement or a sliding movement of the flexible display is identified, device state information including information indicating a power level of a battery of the electronic device is acquired. A first screen redrawing method is determined from among multiple screen redrawing methods by using the device state information. During the rolling movement or the sliding movement, a second screen corresponding to the first screen is displayed in a second area exposed to the outside by the rolling movement or the sliding movement of the flexible display, according to the first screen redrawing method.

An electronic device according to various embodiments may include: a housing, a battery, a flexible display including a first area and a second area extending from the first area and configured to move from the housing to change the size of an area visible to the front face of the electronic device, a sensor configured to identify information related to the size of the visible area of the display, and a processor, wherein the processor may be configured to: identify size information of the visible area of the display using the information received from the sensor, and control the display to display information related to an available usage time of the electronic device based on the identified size information and the remaining amount of the battery.
