An air conditioner includes an outdoor unit including a compressor for compressing a refrigerant and an outdoor heat exchanger for exchanging heat between the refrigerant and outside air. A ventilation device is connected to a plurality of refrigerant pipes, and configured to direct outside air into an indoor space, and indoor air to the outside. The ventilation device includes a case, a main heat exchanger, a recovery heat exchanger, and a refrigerant distributor. The refrigerant distributor is configured to direct the refrigerant between the main heat exchanger and the recovery heat exchanger.

Air conditioner

An air conditioner includes: a suction body having an air suction hole formed therein; a heat exchanger in which air sucked into the air suction hole is heat-exchanged; and a pair of blow discharge units through which the air heat-exchanged in the heat exchanger is passed and discharged. In the air conditioner, each of the pair of blow discharge units includes: a discharge body in which an air inflow hole and an air discharge hole are formed to be spaced apart from each other, and a discharge passage is formed between the air inflow hole and the air discharge hole; a rotation mechanism for rotating the discharge body about a vertical center axis; a cross flow fan rotatably positioned in the discharge passage, the cross flow fan being disposed vertically long in the discharge passage; and a fan motor having a vertical rotational shaft for rotating the cross flow fan. When the cross flow fan is mounted between the discharge body and the heat exchanger, the air conditioner can become more compact, and the utilization of space between the discharge body and the heat exchanger can be enhanced.

A dehumidifier is provided that may include a main body, a compressor provided within the main body to compress a refrigerant, a plurality of heat exchangers provided within the main body to condense the refrigerant compressed in the compressor or to evaporate the refrigerant, a first fan to discharge air, having undergone heat exchange with the refrigerant evaporated in the plurality of heat exchangers and having subsequently undergone heat exchange with the refrigerant condensed in the plurality of heat exchangers, out of the main body, a mode switch to perform switching between operating modes, including a cooling mode and a dehumidification mode, and a second fan to discharge air, having undergone heat exchange with the refrigerant evaporated in the plurality of heat exchangers in the cooling mode, out of the main body.

Dehumidifier

A refrigerant system according to an embodiment of the disclosure includes a outdoor heat exchanger performing heat exchange between outdoor air and a refrigerant; a compressor compressing the refrigerant; an indoor heat exchanger performing heat exchange between indoor air and the refrigerant; an expansion portion expanding the refrigerant; and a refrigerant pipe connecting the outdoor heat exchanger, the compressor, the indoor heat exchanger and the expansion portion to form a refrigerant cycle, wherein the outdoor heat exchanger includes a refrigerant storage portion storing the refrigerant to control flowing refrigerant amount on the refrigerant cycle.

Refrigerant system and a control method the same

An outdoor unit for an air conditioning system includes a tank to store defrosting liquid, a nozzle to apply defrosting liquid from the tank to a heat exchanger, a valve to control flow of the defrosting liquid between the tank and nozzle, and a controller to control the valve based on a temperature of the heat exchanger and a number of times the valve has been set to an open state during a heating mode of the air conditioning system.

Outdoor unit of air conditioner and method for controlling the same

A hot water supply apparatus associated with a heat pump is provided. The hot water supply apparatus may employ a cascade heat pump including a two-stage cycle to perform a hot water supply operation. Refrigerants flowing through a heat side heat exchanger and a usage side heat exchanger may be heat-exchanged with water. Thus, the hot water supply operation may be continuously performed, without a defrosting operation, and hot water supply performance and heating performance may be improved.

Hot water supply apparatus associated with heat pump

A hot water supply apparatus associated with a heat pump is provided. In the hot water supply apparatus, refrigerant flowing through an evaporator and a compressor of a refrigerant cycle may perform a heat-exchange operation with water so that, a hot water supply operation may be substantially continuously performed without performing a defrosting operation.

A refrigerant system and a method for controlling the same are provided. A refrigerant system includes: an outdoor heat exchanger disposed in an operating loop of the refrigerant system and configured to perform a heat exchange between outdoor air and a refrigerant; a compressor disposed in the operating loop and configured to compress the refrigerant; an indoor heat exchanger disposed in the operating loop and configured to perform a heat exchange between indoor air and the refrigerant; an expander disposed in the operating loop and configured to expand the refrigerant; a refrigerant storage connected to the operating loop and configured to receive and store the refrigerant from and discharge the refrigerant to the operating loop; and a refrigerant storage controller configured to control a total amount of refrigerant in the operating loop based on an indoor air conditioning load and an amount of the stored refrigerant.
