A scroll compressor including an orbiting scroll that performs an orbiting motion; a fixed scroll coupled to the orbiting scroll so as to form a compression chamber; and a main frame that rotatably supports the orbiting scroll at an opposite side of the fixed scroll with the orbiting scroll interposed therebetween, and supportably connected to the fixed scroll. The fixed scroll is provided with a back pressure hole formed between a first back pressure chamber in which gas discharged from the compression chamber is received, and the compression chamber. The back pressure hole may communicate with the first back pressure chamber and the compression chamber on the basis of a predetermined pressure ratio of the compression chamber.

A scroll compressor includes a plurality of fixing protrusions that are provided spaced apart from each other in a key that constitutes an Oldham ring, and an orbiting scroll, to which the key is coupled, or a ring body of the Oldham ring may be provided with a plurality of fixing grooves which are spaced part from each other and into which the plurality of fixing protrusions are respectively inserted and fixed.

A scroll compressor is disclosed. The scroll compressor includes a rotating shaft coupling portion axially extending from a central portion of an orbiting end plate to radially overlap an orbiting wrap, such that an eccentric portion of a rotating shaft is coupled thereto, and a portion of the orbiting wrap may extend from an end surface of the rotating shaft coupling portion facing a fixed end plate. With the configuration, a distance between bearing reaction force and gas reaction force acting on the orbiting scroll can be reduced, to stabilize a behavior of the orbiting scroll and thus reduce back pressure, thereby decreasing friction loss between scrolls. Simultaneously, compression chambers can be formed even in a central portion of the orbiting scroll, which can increase a compression ratio and improve volumetric efficiency.

A scroll compressor includes a fixed scroll, an orbiting scroll, a rotating shaft, an Oldham ring, and a plurality of first keys. The orbiting scroll is configured to engage the fixed scroll. The rotating shaft is eccentrically coupled to the orbiting scroll and configured to operate the orbiting scroll. The Oldham ring has a ring body that defines a plurality of slots. The plurality of first keys are coupled to the orbiting scroll and inserted to the plurality of slots, respectively. The plurality of first keys are configured to slide at the plurality of slots in a radial direction and include a material different from a material of the Oldham ring.

A scroll compressor includes a casing, a main frame, a rotating shaft, an orbiting scroll, a fixed scroll configured to engage the orbiting scroll to form a compression chamber, and an Oldham ring slidably coupled to the orbiting scroll to prevent rotation of the orbiting scroll. The Oldham ring includes: a ring body provided between the main frame and the orbiting scroll to be supported in an axial direction of the rotating shaft, and a key portion extending in the axial direction from the ring body and slidably inserted into a key accommodating portion provided in the orbiting scroll, the main frame, or the fixed scroll. The ring body or the key portion includes an oil supply passage for guiding oil accumulated in a member on which the ring body is supported to between the key portion and the key accommodating portion.

A scroll compressor includes a first scroll and a second scroll engaged with the first scroll to form a compression chamber with the first scroll while performing an orbiting movement with respect to the first scroll. A frame is fixed to a side of the first scroll with the second scroll interposed between the frame and the first scroll and the frame supporting the second scroll in an axial direction. An Oldham ring includes a ring portion and a key portion protruding from the ring portion. The key portion is slidably coupled to a key recess in the frame or the second scroll to enable the second scroll to perform the orbiting movement, and the key portion of the Oldham ring is formed of the same material as the second scroll. A wear preventing member is provided between the key portion and the key recess.

A scroll compressor includes a casing accommodating a rotary shaft and a driving unit, a first scroll making an orbiting movement by the rotary shaft, a second scroll engaged with the first scroll to form a compression chamber and having a bypass hole bypassing a refrigerant sucked into the compression chamber to an internal space of the casing, and a back-pressure chamber assembly pressing the second scroll toward the first scroll, wherein the back-pressure chamber assembly includes: a back-pressure space, a first valve unit allowing the bypass hole and the internal space of the casing to selectively communicate with each other, and a second valve unit opened and closed to selectively supply the refrigerant of the back-pressure space to the first valve unit to operate the first valve unit, and positioned to be fixed to the casing.

A scroll compressor is provided that may include a casing including a rotational shaft, a first scroll rotated by rotation of the rotational shaft, the first scroll including a first head plate and a first wrap that extends from the first head plate in a first direction, and a second scroll that defines a plurality of compression chambers together with the first scroll, the second scroll including a second head plate and a second wrap that extends from the second head plate in a second direction. Each of the first and second wraps spirally may extend from an outer end toward an inner start end, and the first wrap may have a thickness greater than a thickness of the second wrap.

A compressor according to the present disclosure may include a container; a drive motor provided in the container; a crankshaft coupled to a rotor of the drive motor; a first scroll coupled to the crankshaft to receive a rotational force of the drive motor to perform an orbiting movement; a second scroll coupled to the first scroll to form a first compression unit and a second compression unit along with the first scroll; and a vane provided in the first scroll or second scroll to be brought into contact with the other side scroll to form the second compression unit, wherein the first compression unit is carried out in a scroll compression mode and the second compression unit is carried out in a rotary compression mode.

A scroll compressor is provided which is configured such that an arcuate section may be formed from a suction end of a wrap to a first point to increase a suction volume, and a logarithmic spiral section in which a wrap thickness increases may be formed from a second point to a discharge end of the wrap. This may increase a volume ratio of the compressor so as to increase a capacity of the compressor and prevent damage to the wrap due to a high compression ratio operation, thereby enhancing reliability of the compressor.
