The present invention relates to a thermoplastic resin composition. In more particular, a thermoplastic resin of graft ABS polymer and heat-resistant copolymer contains acryl-based resin, peroxide-based additive, or cross-linking additive, so that the thermoplastic resin composition of the present invention is effective in processing of a colored heat resistant ABS resin by having excellent cold stress whitening reduction and strength property, without lowering other properties as well as giving excellence in hot-tool weldability, pigmentation and paint spread property which are more important in post process, and maintaining the mechanical property as well as giving excellent heat-resistance and low gloss property.

Thermoplastic resin composition having excellent resistance and low gloss

The present invention relates to a process for preparing polymer latex resin powder, and particularly to a process for preparing polymer latex resin powder including coagulating polymer latex and aging the polymer latex. The process further includes introducing an emulsifier into polymer latex emulsion before coagulation. The polymer latex resin powder prepared by the present invention has 85 wt % or more of particles with diameter of 70 to 400 &#x3bc;m, each 10 wt % or less of fine powder with less than 70 &#x3bc;m and those with 400 &#x3bc;m or more, and it has superior bulk density and caking property.

Process for preparing polymer latex resin powder

The present invention relates to ABS thermoplastic resin and preparation thereof, and particularly to a process for preparing an ABS graft copolymer comprising the step of introducing to a) 40 to 80 weight parts of rubber latex comprising i) 10 to 50 weight parts of large diameter polybutadiene rubber latex having a particle diameter of 2500 to 3500 &#x212b;, gel contents of 60 to 80%, and a swelling index to 12 to 30, and ii) 50 to 90 weight parts of large diameter rubber latex having a particle diameter of 2500 to 3500 &#x212b;, gel contents of 81 to 97%, and a swelling index of 18 to 40, b) 20 to 60 weight parts of a monomer mixture of two or more kinds selected from a group consisting of aromatic vinyl compounds and vinyl cyanide compounds to prepare a graft copolymer, wherein 5 to 30 wt % of the monomer mixture is introduced as a batch and simultaneously 70 to 95 wt % of the monomer mixture is started to be continuously introduced in an emulsified state, and a thermoplastic resin composition using the same. According to the process of the present invention, control of polymerization heat is easy even at high solid contents, and polymerization cohesion contents can be minimized and thus ABS thermoplastic resin having superior impact resistance, gloss, and coloring property can be provided.

Thermoplastic resin and preparation thereof

The present invention relates to a method of acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) rubber latex, and the acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) latex is prepared by graft-polymerizing butadiene rubber with the monomers of acrlylonitrile and styrene through emulsion-polymerization, so that the ABS rubber latex of the present invention has high solid content. The method of ABS rubber latex of the present invention comprises the step of emulsion-polymerizing i) polybutadiene rubber latex; ii) aromatic vinyl compound; and iii) vinyl cyanide with the addition of a reactive emulsifier. According to the method of the present invention, the ABS rubber latex has high solid content due to a decrease in the amount of coagulated materials and film, which formed on the rubber latex during polymerization, and an increase in the production volume.
