A refrigerator includes a water tank which stores water, a carbon dioxide cylinder which stores carbon dioxide, a dispenser module which accommodates an external container and supplies the carbon dioxide and the water to the external container, and a controller which supplies the water to the external container and supplies the carbon dioxide to the external container when supplying the water is completed.

Refrigerator and controlling method thereof

Disclosed herein are a refrigerator and a control method of the same. The refrigerator includes a purified water pump which increases a pressure of water, a carbon dioxide regulator which decreases a pressure of carbon dioxide, a mixing pipe which mixes water which introduced from the purified water pump and carbon dioxide which introduced from the carbon dioxide regulator, and produces carbonated water, a user interface which receives a production condition of carbonated water from a user, and a controller which controls the purified water pump and the carbon dioxide regulator such that the pressure of the water and the pressure of the carbon dioxide reach a target pressure corresponding to the input production condition.

Refrigerator and control method of the same

Disclosed herein is a refrigerator which includes a carbonated water production assembly, wherein the carbonated water production assembly includes a structure in which purified water or carbonated water which overflow from a carbonated water container in which the carbonated water is produced is discharged by detouring. Through this, cleanliness of the carbonated water container may be improved, and safety may be improved during the carbonated water production.

A refrigerator includes a carbonated water tank in which carbonated water is stored; a water level sensor sensing a water level of carbonated water stored in the carbonated water tank; a water tank supplying filtered water to the carbonated water tank; a carbon dioxide cylinder supplying carbon dioxide to the carbonated water tank; and a controller, if the water level of carbonated water sensed by the water level sensor is less than or equal to a predetermined minimum water level, supplying the filtered water to the carbonated water tank, and if supply of the filtered water is completed, supplying the carbon dioxide to the carbonated water tank so as to produce the carbonated water. If the carbonated water is discharged, the controller controls the water level sensor to sense the water lever of the carbonated water stored in the carbonated water tank.
