An electronic device including an antenna device is provided. The electronic device includes a case member, a frame disposed around a periphery of one surface of the case member, forming sidewalls, and an antenna device for transmitting and receiving wireless signals. The antenna device includes a first radiation conductor forming a first part of the frame, a second radiation conductor disposed in a vicinity of the first radiation conductor, forming a second part of the frame, a third radiation conductor provided on the case member and connected to a first power supply of the electronic device, together with the first radiation conductor, and a fourth radiation conductor provided on the case member and connected to a ground of the electronic device. At least a part of the fourth radiation conductor is disposed in a vicinity of the second radiation conductor.

Electronic device including antenna device

A portable terminal is provided. The portable terminal includes a main housing, a sub housing, a mainboard, and an electric connector. The main housing has a first antenna radiator. The sub housing is separable from the main housing and has a second antenna radiator. The mainboard is disposed in the main housing and processes a radio signal. The electric connector is disposed in the main housing. When the sub housing and the main housing are separated from each other, the electric connector electrically connects the mainboard with the first antenna radiator of the main housing. When the sub housing and the main housing are coupled, the electric connector electrically connects the mainboard with the second antenna radiator of the sub housing.

Disclosed is an antenna apparatus for a portable terminal which has a variable movement antenna apparatus variably moving a position of a ground surface of an antenna. A sliding type portable terminal includes a body housing, a sliding housing slidably moved to and from the body housing; built-in antenna provided in the body housing; and a variable movement antenna apparatus variably moving a position of a ground surface by separating the ground surface of the antenna and by slidably moving the separated ground surface in the lengthwise direction of the body housing so as to be closer to and farther away from the body housing.

An antenna apparatus for a folder type mobile phone, wherein a first antenna is installed in a main body of the folder type mobile phone, and a second antenna is installed in the folder. The folder type mobile phone installs a main antenna apparatus in the main body, and an antenna apparatus for maximizing the diversity effect in the folder. As a result, it becomes more convenient to carry the folder type mobile phone based on the diversity mode, while securing a broader separation distance between two antennas at the same time.
