An antenna device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a dielectric layer and an antenna unit disposed on a top surface of the dielectric layer. The antenna unit includes a mesh structure. The mesh structure of the antenna unit includes unit cells that are repeatedly arranged, and diagonal lines of each unit cell are inclined with respect to a width direction or a length direction of the antenna device. The antenna device having reduced pattern visibility and having improved transmittance and signal sensitivity is provided.

Antenna device and display device including the same

An antenna-inserted electrode structure according to an embodiment includes a substrate layer, an antenna unit disposed on the substrate layer and an electrostatic discharge line extending from a periphery of the antenna unit on the substrate layer. An external static electricity and a side current may be removed by the electrostatic discharge line to prevent electrical and mechanical damages of the antenna unit.

An antenna package according to an embodiment includes a plurality of antenna units including first antenna units and second antenna units, a circuit board electrically connected to the antenna units. Antenna units of different resonance frequencies can be efficiently included in the package using the circuit wiring design.

An antenna stack structure according to an embodiment includes an antenna substrate layer, an antenna unit disposed on a top surface of the antenna substrate layer, the antenna unit including a radiator and an antenna pad, and a display panel including a grounding element disposed on a bottom surface of the antenna substrate layer. An antenna package according to an exemplary embodiment includes an antenna unit, a printed circuit board including an antenna connection wiring electrically connected to the antenna unit, an antenna driving integrated circuit (IC) chip mounted on the printed circuit board and connected to the antenna connection wiring, and a touch sensor driving IC chip and a display driving IC chip mounted on the printed circuit board together with the antenna driving IC chip. The driving IC chips are integrated in a single printed circuit board to improve spatial and process efficiency.

The circuit board includes a core layer, a circuit wiring layer disposed on one surface of the core layer, the circuit wiring layer including a signal transmission wiring electrically connected to the transmission line of the antenna unit and a first ground pattern bonded to the antenna ground pad, and a ground layer disposed on an opposite surface facing the one surface of the core layer. The ground layer does not overlap a portion of the antenna ground pad except for a region bonded to the first ground pattern in a planar view.
