Disclosed is a method for transmitting signal in a communication system. A method for transmitting signal comprises generating a short training field (STF) comprising a cyclic prefix (CP) and an effective symbol period including four RP regions; generating a long training field (LTF) comprising a cyclic prefix (CP) and an effective symbol period including two RP regions; generating a frame comprising the STF and the LTF; and transmitting the frame. Thus, efficiency of the communication system may be enhanced by using the method.

Method for transmitting signal in communication system

A method and system for communicating between devices according to the present invention are provided. The method for communicating between the devices according to the present invention is used for communicating with a first terminal, and is carried out in a device having a capacitive touch screen. The method includes: detecting a change in capacitance for a specific part of the capacitive touch screen, which occurs by means of the first terminal; and acquiring information transferred from the first terminal on the basis of the detected change in capacitance of the capacitive touch screen. The communicating method using such a touch screen may be easily used for various services such as authenticating terminals or transferring files between local terminals.

A method and apparatus related to spatial filtering to select target terminals only located at a predetermined distance among a plurality of target terminals, using a propagation delay between an electromagnetic signal and an acoustic signal are provided. A user terminal transmits the acoustic signal to neighboring terminals to select terminals of which distances from the user terminal correspond to a distance from the user terminal to a target terminal among neighboring terminals. The electromagnetic signal is transmitted to the neighboring terminals in a predetermined transmission delay. Response signals are received from neighboring terminals of which distances from the user terminal are within a predetermined range, among the neighboring terminals that have received the acoustic signal and the electromagnetic signal. The neighboring terminals receive the acoustic signal from the user terminal, and receive the electromagnetic signal transmitted in the transmission delay from the user terminal.

Provided is a method and apparatus for setting a communication target in a wireless communication system. A method of setting, by a setting device, a communication target in a wireless communication system may include: obtaining a synchronization and a characteristic of a target device by receiving a signal transmitted from the target device during a predetermined period of time; transmitting setting information to the target device based on the synchronization and the characteristic of the target device; and completing setting of the communication target by receiving setting response signal from the target device.
