A method of collecting target cells including providing a cell collection device comprising a conduit defining a fluid channel, a first screen and a second screen, the first and second screens are movable relative to each other along the flow direction between a first configuration and a second configuration, flowing a fluid composition comprising the target cells in the flow direction while the first and second screens are in a first configuration to screen at least part of the target cells, moving the first screen relative to the second screen along the flow direction from the first configuration to form the second configuration, to permit at least part of the target cells screened in the first configuration to pass the first screen first and then the second screen, and collecting at least part of the target cells at the second end of the fluid channel.

Method of collecting target cells

A cell collecting device is configured to collect target cells from a fluid sample such as blood or physiological fluid. The cell collecting device includes a conduit through which a fluid sample containing target cells passes. The cell collecting device further includes a screen filter installed inside the conduit and configured to guide the target cells toward a specified region. The screen filter includes a plurality of filtering holes for filtering the target cells.

Disclosed is a slide assembly for a cytospin. The slide assembly includes: a slide having a hole formed in a predetermined position and including a mesh filter installed on a lower surface of the slide in alignment with the hole, the mesh filter having a plurality of filtering holes; and a filter card disposed below the slide so as to make contact with the lower surface of the slide. The slide assembly has an effect of preventing a loss of cells to be inspected and an effect of enabling accurate qualitative and quantitative analysis of inspection targets.

A micro-fluidic device includes a filter case, a first capture array and a second capture array. The filter case includes an inlet for introducing a sample containing different kinds of targets, an outlet for discharging the sample and a channel extending between the inlet and the outlet. The first capture array is arranged in an upstream portion of the channel, the first capture array including a plurality of first forward funnels arranged along a direction orthogonal to a flow direction of the sample so as to capture the different kinds of targets. The second capture array is arranged in a downstream portion of the channel, the second capture array including a plurality of second forward funnels arranged along the direction orthogonal to the flow direction of the sample so as to capture the different kinds of targets.
