A camera module includes a housing having an internal space, and a first lens module and a second lens module disposed in the internal space and each configured to be movable in an optical axis direction, wherein a first shaft and a first ball member are disposed between the first lens module and the housing, wherein a second shaft and a second ball member are disposed between the second lens module and the housing, and wherein, when moving in the optical axis direction, rolling friction occurs on one of both sides of each lens module, and sliding friction occurs on the other of both sides.

A camera module includes a housing, a lens module accommodated in the housing, a first optical image stabilization (OIS) driving unit configured to move the lens module, relative to the housing, in a first direction perpendicular to an optical axis direction, and a second OIS driving unit configured to move the lens module, relative to the housing, in a second direction perpendicular to the optical axis direction and intersecting the first direction, wherein the first OIS driving unit includes first voice coil motors disposed on both sides of the lens module in the first direction, and the second OIS driving unit includes second voice coil motors disposed on both sides of the lens module in the first direction.

One printed circuit board corresponding to a lens module moved by the first actuator, among the plurality of printed circuit boards, is disposed to be lower than the other printed circuit boards in the optical axis direction.

A camera module actuator is described including a magnet, a coil disposed to face the magnet, and a driver configured to apply a driving signal to the coil to move the magnet. An actuator driving apparatus includes an inductor disposed on a housing to face a magnetic body attached to a lens carrier, a detector configured to apply a reference signal to the inductor and detect an inductor current flowing through the inductor, a calculator configured to determine a position of the lens carrier based on the inductor current, and a driver configured to drive an actuator based on the position of the lens carrier and a position control signal.
