Provided are a water pump motor that employs a stator core of an outer winding method that can use a low-cost ferrite magnet by minimizing an air gap between a magnet of a rotor and a stator core, and that heightens a fill factor, to thereby maximize efficiency of the motor, and a water pump using the water pump motor. The water pump motor includes a stator and an inner type rotor, in which the stator includes: a stator core whose inner circumferential portion is annularly interconnected, in which a number of protrusions are radially extended and formed; insulating bobbins that surround the stator core; a coil wound around the outer circumference of each bobbin; and an annular back yoke that surrounds in contact with the outer end of the stator core. The insulating bobbins are annularly molded to surround the inner circumferential portion of the stator core, and entirely surround the inner circumferential portion of the stator core, to thus make the inner side surface play a role of a sealing cover, and the rotor includes ferrite magnets in opposition to the inner side surfaces of the bobbins.

Water-pump motor using a waterproof stator, and water pump

Provided is a double-rotor type motor including: a stator; a double-rotor that is positioned at a certain gap on an outer surface and an inner surface of the stator; a rotor support on which the double-rotor is integrally formed and a plurality of air passages are radially penetratively formed; and a heat dissipation unit that is integrally formed with the rotor support and that forcibly ventilates outer air into the air passages during rotation of the rotor, to thereby dissipate heat generated from the stator. Thus, outer air may be forcibly ventilated to the stator, to thereby improve the heat dissipation efficiency of the stator.

Double-rotor motor

Provided is a motor drive device for a motor for a washing machine of a double-rotor/double-stator structure that can selectively rotate a pulsator and a dehydrator without having a separate clutch, and a motor control method thereof. The motor drive device includes: a motor controller that generates a drive signal according to a laundry control signal to thus control a motor for the washing machine to be driven: an inverter that generates three-phase alternating-current (AC) power under the control of the motor controller, and outputs the three-phase AC power to a first three-phase stator coil for rotating an outer rotor in the motor for the washing machine, and a second three-phase stator coil for rotating an inner rotor therein; and a rotor drive controller that is provided between the inverter and the second three-phase stator coil, to thus block or pass the three-phase AC power under the control of the motor controller and simultaneously change the direction of rotation of the inner rotor.

Motor drive device for washing machine and motor control method thereof

Provided are an amorphous split core stator, which maximizes an opposing area between a plurality of split cores and magnets, increases a fill factor of coils, and which is molded by using amorphous metallic powder to thereby minimize an eddy current loss (or a core loss), and an axial gap type motor using the same. The axial gap type amorphous split core motor includes: a rotating shaft whose both ends are rotatably supported; first and second annular yokes the center of each of which is combined with the rotating shaft and that are placed at an interval therebetween; first and second rotors having a plurality of magnets that are mounted on the inner surfaces of the first and second yokes with polarities opposite to each other; and a stator having a plurality of split cores that are placed between the first and second rotors and on each of which a coil is wound, in which the split cores are molded by using amorphous metallic powder.

Amorphous divided-core stator and axial-gap-type motor using same

Provided is an amorphous stator for use in a high-power, high-speed electric motor, and an electric motor using the amorphous stator, in which amorphous alloy powder is compressed and molded into a number of unit split cores, to then be assembled with bobbins, and to thus be easily molded into a core of a complex shape, and a core loss is minimized by using the amorphous alloy powder, to thus promote improvement of an efficiency of the motor. The electric motor includes: a stator in which a coil is wound on bobbins respectively formed in a number of unit split cores, and the number of unit split cores are assembled in an annular form by an integral or split bobbin; and a rotor that is rotated by an interaction with the stator, wherein the unit split cores are molded with mixed powder made of plate-shaped amorphous alloy powder and spherical soft magnetic powder.

Amorphous stator, and electric motor using same

Provided is a water pump motor that implements a waterproof structure of a motor using a cover to seal a stator, and a water pump using the same. The water pump motor includes: a lower case on top of which a cylindrical protrusion is provided; a stator whose lower portion is supported on top of the protrusion and is sealed by the lower case; a stator case that is formed of an annular trench shape that seals the inner circumferential portion; a rotational shaft whose lower portion is rotatably supported by a groove; a rotor placed at the upper-inner circumferential portion of the stator case and at the center of which the rotational shaft is coupled to thus rotate according to an action with respect to the stator; and an upper case coupled with the lower case in an inverted cup shape.

A slim type motor for a washing machine having a direct drive system and having a heat radiating structure includes: a stator in which stator cores around which coils are wound are disposed in an annular form in an annular stator support whose central portion is open, in order to emit heat generated in the inside of the motor to the outside; a rotor in which a number of permanent magnets are arranged in a back yoke mounted on a circular rotor support, to thus form an air gap with respect to the stator; and a rotating shaft that is coupled to the central portion of the rotor support and is driven by a torque of the rotor.

Slim-type motor having a heat-dissipating structure, and washing machine adopting a direct drive system

Provided are a double-stator/double-rotor type motor, in which a double rotor is disposed between an inner stator and an outer stator so as to face the inner stator and the outer stator and form a magnetic circuit with a shortened magnetic path with respect to each of the inner stator and the outer stator, to thereby promote efficiency of the motor, and in which magnets are mounted on inner and outer circumferential surfaces of a back yoke, and a direct drive apparatus for a washing machine using the double-stator/double-rotor type motor. The double-stator/double-rotor type motor includes: a rotor including a first permanent magnet mounted on an inner circumferential surface of a back yoke and a second permanent magnet mounted on an outer circumferential surface of the back yoke; an inner stator that faces the first permanent magnet with a first air gap, to generate a first magnetic field that rotates the rotor; and an outer stator that faces the second permanent magnet with a second air gap, to generate a second magnetic field that rotates the rotor.

Provided are a double-stator/double-rotor type motor, and a direct drive apparatus for a washing machine using the double-stator/double-rotor type motor, in which a nonmagnetic material is provided between inner and outer stators so as to form dual magnetic circuits that are respectively separated for an inner rotor and an outer rotor, and a double stator is disposed between an inner rotor and an outer rotor so as to separably form a magnetic circuit with a shortened magnetic.

Provided is a waterproof fluid pump including: a motor that is accommodated in a first case and comprises a stator and a rotor, to thus generate a rotating torque; an impeller that is accommodated in a pump housing that is mounted in the first case and that receives the rotating torque of the motor to thus pump fluid; a support shaft to which the rotor and the impeller are rotatably supported and that is fixed to the first case; a first magnet that is fixed to the rotor and is rotated with the rotor; and a second magnet that is fixed to the impeller and is disposed facing the first magnet and that has opposite polarity to that of the first magnet. Thus, fluid may be fundamentally prevented from being introduced into the inside of the motor.

Provided is a fluid pump including: a motor unit that comprises a stator, a rotor, and a rotational shaft on which the rotor is fixed, to thus generate a rotating torque; a pump unit that is placed separately from the motor unit on one side of the motor unit, and that comprises an impeller for pumping fluid: a first power transmission unit that is fixed to the rotor and is rotated with the rotor, and that comprises a first magnet; and a second power transmission unit that is fixed to the impeller and that comprises a second magnet that is disposed facing the first magnet and has opposite polarities to those of the first magnet. Accordingly, fluid can he fundamentally prevented from being introduced into the inside of the motor unit.
