A method of displaying a stereoscopic image includes outputting a left-eye image to a first and a second display block of a display panel during an N-th frame. Light is provided to the first display block during a first period of the N-th frame and light is provided to the second display block during a second period of the N-th frame. A right-eye image is output to the first and second display blocks of the display panel during an M-th frame. Light is provided to the first display block during a first period of the M-th frame and light is provided light to the second display block during a second period of the M-th frame.

A method of displaying a stereoscopic image provides first light having a first wavelength and second light having a second wavelength different from the first wavelength to the a display panel according to left-eye and right-eye images displayed on the display panel. A touch sensor is installed inside a liquid crystal display panel to sense a touch operation and includes a light sensing part including a photodiode, a capacitance sensing part including a liquid crystal capacitor, and a sensing signal output part. The light sensing part generates a control signal corresponding to a variation in the amount of external light when the liquid crystal display panel is touched. The capacitance sensing part varies the control signal based on a variation in the capacitance of the liquid crystal capacitor when the liquid crystal display panel is touched.
