A display panel, in which a plurality of first emission areas, a plurality of second emission areas, and a plurality of third emission areas are defined, includes a first spacer spaced apart from one of the plurality of third emission areas in a first direction, a second spacer spaced apart from the first spacer in the first direction, and a plurality of protruding portions spaced apart from the plurality of third emission areas in a second direction crossing the first direction, wherein m third emission areas (m is an integer greater than or equal to 4) among the plurality of third emission areas are between the first spacer and the second spacer.

Display panel with spacers every four or more pixels

A display module may include a display panel that includes a base layer, a circuit insulating layer, a first electrode, and an emission layer. The circuit insulating layer may include a first portion having a first thickness, a second portion having a second thickness greater than the first thickness, and a third portion having a third thickness greater than the second thickness. The first electrode may include a first electrode portion disposed on the first portion and a second electrode portion extending from the first electrode portion and disposed on the second portion. The emission layer may include a first light-emitting portion disposed on the first electrode portion and a second light-emitting portion extending from the first light-emitting portion and disposed on the second electrode portion.

Display module having a circuit insulating layer

A display panel includes an array substrate, an opposite substrate facing the array substrate, and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the array substrate and the opposite substrate. The array substrate includes a display area and a non-display area surrounding the display area, and the non-display area includes a first non-display area disposed adjacent to a side portion of the display area and a second non-display area other than the first non-display area. The first non-display area overlaps the opposite substrate. The array substrate and the opposite substrate have the same or substantially the same area and a wire member is disposed under the array substrate to be connected to an external circuit module. Accordingly, the display panel does not need an extra space for the wire member, and thus the non-display area is reduced.

Display panel and method of manufacturing the same

A display device includes an upper display substrate including a first pixel region for emitting a first light, a second pixel region for emitting a second light different from the first light, and a third pixel region for emitting a third light different from the first light and the second light; and a lower display substrate including a first light-emitting element overlapping the first pixel region, a second light-emitting element overlapping the second pixel region, and a third light-emitting element overlapping the third pixel region. The second light-emitting element includes one or more first stacks for emitting the second light, the third light-emitting element includes one or more second stacks for emitting the third light, and a concentration of a conductive material included in the one or more first stacks is higher than a concentration of a conductive material included in the one or more second stacks.

Display device

A display panel includes an upper display substrate in which first to third pixel regions respectively configured to emit first to third light are defined, and a lower display substrate including first to third light-emitting elements respectively overlapping the first to third pixel regions. The first light-emitting element and the second light-emitting element each include one or more first stack parts and one or more first charge generation layers, each of the one or more first stack parts including a first emission layer configured to emit the second light. The third light-emitting element includes one or more second stack parts and one or more second charge generation layers, each of the one or more second stacking parts including a second emission layer configured to emit the third light. The first charge generation layer includes organic dopants, and the second charge generation layer includes inorganic dopants.

Display panel

A display apparatus includes an array substrate an opposite substrate facing the array substrate, and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the array substrate and the opposite substrate. The array substrate includes a display area, a non-display area, including first and second non-display areas, a pad area, the first non-display area adjacent to the pad area, a first base substrate disposed in the display area and in the non-display area, an organic polymer layer disposed in the pad area and in the first non-display area, a thin film transistor disposed in the display area, a pixel electrode connected to the thin film transistor, and a signal input pad connected to the thin film transistor and disposed on the organic polymer layer in the pad area. The organic polymer layer is disposed on the first base substrate in the first non-display area.

A liquid crystal display includes: a display panel including a plurality of pixels arranged substantially in a matrix form, a plurality of gate lines connected to the pixels, and a plurality of data lines connected to the pixels; and a common voltage generator configured to generate a common voltage and apply the common voltage to the display panel, in which the common voltage generated from the common voltage generator is substantially the same as an optimum common voltage at a highest grayscale level, which minimizes flicker at the highest grayscale level.

Liquid crystal display

A liquid crystal device includes: a display area comprising pixels; a peripheral area disposed at an edge of the display area; a common voltage application wiring configured to transfer a common voltage; and a data voltage application wiring configured to transfer a data voltage. A ratio of a width of the common voltage application wiring and a width of the data voltage application wiring is in a range of 2:1 to 1:1.

A liquid crystal display device includes a first display substrate, a second display substrate, a liquid crystal layer, and a sealant. The sealant is disposed between the first display substrate and the second display substrate to seal the liquid crystal layer. The sealant includes a first sealant that contacts the liquid crystal layer and a second sealant across the first sealant from the liquid crystal layer. The first sealant has a cure rate greater than that of the second sealant, and may prevent moisture and impurities from entering the liquid crystal layer.
